2 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Anthony Santander (back) has returned to the starting lineup on Friday against the Chicago White Sox and right-hander Mike Clevinger. He's serving as the designated hitter and is batting cleanup after missing the last two games with minor back soreness. The 28-year-old Venezuelan will return to a prime lineup spot, and fantasy managers will be hoping he can get going at the plate sooner than later. Through his first 49 plate appearances in 11 games played, Santander has gone just 8-for-43 (.186) with four doubles, four RBI, two runs scored and 17 strikeouts. He's looking for his first home run of the 2023 season after clubbing a career-high 33 of them in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
