Alex Wood Has Next Start Pushed Back To Sunday
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starter Alex Wood (hamstring) will have his next start pushed back to Sunday. Wood has been bothered by lingering cramps in his hamstring, so manager Dave Roberts figured the lefty could use an extra day of rest. Roberts said that Friday will be a bullpen game, while rookie Walker Buehler is still in line to start on Saturday. Wood has had an alright start to the season. His 1-4 record is mainly due to a lack of run support. He has registered a solid 3.75 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 8.4 K/9 through 11 starts. He remains a solid option as an SP3 or SP4 in all fantasy formats.
