9 months agoThe Arizona Diamondbacks plan to extend $17.9 million qualifying offers to free-agent outfielder A.J. Pollock and starting pitcher Patrick Corbin. With both players expected to depart in free agency, it'll allow the Snakes to receive draft-pick compensation for them. Pollock is an injury risk in fantasy, but he has shown an impressive mix of power and speed when healthy, hitting a career-high 21 homers and stealing 13 bags in 2018 in just 413 at-bats. Corbin is one of the best starting pitchers on the market this year and could be pursued heavily by the Yankees. The left-hander profiles as a fantasy ace after going 11-7 with a 3.15 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 246 K's in 200 innings over 33 starts in 2018.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
