NFL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings - Cowboys vs. Lions Thursday Night Showdown

Jameson Williams - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks

Koby's top NFL DFS lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel -- Cowboys vs. Lions TNF slate for Week 14 Thursday Night Football (Dec. 4, 2025). His NFL daily fantasy sleeper picks.

Happy Thursday, RotoBallers! We are already on Week 14 of the season, and we are getting very close to the playoffs. This game could be very important when it comes down to the Wild Card Race, as both teams are just right on the edge.

The best part of the NFL schedule is that we have only two days off between Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football, so we are back at it tonight as the Dallas Cowboys (6-5-1) travel up north to Detroit to take on the Lions (7-5). Both teams have been lackluster in the secondary this season, which could make for quite the shootout.

I will provide you with daily fantasy football picks on DraftKings and FanDuel for Thursday Night Football in Week 14 -- Cowboys vs. Lions on December 4, 2025. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks. MVP/Captain - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Dak Prescott - QB, $15.6K (DK), $18.3K (FD)

This slate is going to be chalky in how you start your lineups. I'm going to be starting with double QBs in nearly every lineup. Both teams' secondaries have been some of the worst in the league. Let's start with the Lions' defense. This is a great matchup for Prescott, who has had 24+ fantasy points in three straight games. He is getting a Lions defense that gives up the fourth most fantasy points to opposing QBs and WRs this season.

I'm expecting this game to be very high scoring, with the over/under set at 54.5 already. The Cowboys are healthy and have won three straight, two of which against Last year's Super Bowl. The Cowboys have shown they want to throw the ball a lot with Dak attempting 30+ times a game.

Jared Goff - QB, $15K (DK), $16.8K (FD)

Jared Goff is in for the best matchup of the season. Goff hasn't quite had the explosive season that I would like to see from a fantasy aspect, but this matchup is too juicy to ignore. The Cowboys' defense is giving up the most fantasy points to QBs and WRs, while giving up the most overall receiving TDs and receiving yards by a large margin. The Cowboys' run defense has been slightly better, so I do expect them to lean on the pass more in this game.

With Amon-Ra St. Brown questionable, that hurts the passing game a bit, but Jameson Williams stepped up massively in his absence. If ARSB is ruled out, expect Williams, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Tom Kennedy to benefit the most. The Lions sit at a 33.5 point total right now, which is good for nearly five touchdowns, and unless the running game vultures them all, Goff should be in for a nice showing.

Other Captains/MVPs: Jahmyr Gibbs

Flex Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Jameson Williams - WR, $8.4K (DK), $9.8K (FD)

I'm writing on the assumption that ARSB may not play in this one. With that being said, if he doesn't play, then Jameson Williams is a must-play. In last week's loss to the Packers, he had 10 targets, catching 7 for 144 yards and a touchdown. That was with a tougher matchup. This week, he has probably the best matchup in all of football. As I mentioned before, the Cowboys give up the most fantasy points to opposing WRs.

He should find himself lined up with Trikweze Bridges, who is giving up .46 fantasy points per route run. That is one of the best matchups in all of football this week. His only downside is the lack of targets in the red zone. ARSB tends to take up a lot of those when he is in, so if he is out, then Williams should see an uptick in the red zone as well.

George Pickens - WR, $9.4K (DK), $10.6K (FD)

For right now, Pickens is the play going forward. I can get similar production from Pickens that I can from CeeDee Lamb for over $1k cheaper. Pickens has been on a tear, going for 75+ yards in seven straight games. In six of those games, he has nine or more targets. Pickens is also seeing very similar red zone target numbers. Pickens has seen only a .6% lower red zone target% yet has more than double the amount of TDs.

Pickens should find himself lined up against Rock Ya-Sin, who is giving up .26 fantasy points per route run. The Lions' defense has given up the fourth-most receiving yards this season to WRs. I'm once again expecting a massive game from Pickens, who is the next closest in terms of yardage this season to Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Other Flex Options: Jake Ferguson, Amon-Ra St. Brown(if he plays)

Value Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Tom Kennedy - WR, $2K (DK), $1.2K (FD)

In the mind of thinking that ARSB is out, that moves Tom Kennedy up the ladder quickly. He made his season debut against the Packers last week, and he did extremely well. He caught all four of his targets for 36 yards. That was good for second on the team in terms of yardage, beating out rookie Isaac TeSlaa, who is also worth a shot on this slate.

We don't have much data on Kennedy, but he should see solid usage if ARSB is out for this one. The matchup is fantastic, given the Cowboys' defense's terrible performance against receivers this season. With that being said, though, getting shares of both Kennedy and TeSlaa here will be crucial. TeSlaa has shown to be an asset in the red zone this season with three TDs. But he doesn't see many targets outside of that.

Ryan Flournoy - WR, $3.4K (DK), $2.8K (FD)

Ryan Flournoy has been battling alongside Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin for targets this season, but it does seem he has passed up at least Tolbert. Flournoy is listed as the WR3 in the offense, and that being said, the Lions give up the most receiving yards to opposing WR3s this season. This should be a massive shootout for the WRs in both offenses, as neither has defended them well.

Flournoy doesn't have a high floor, but if he can get himself involved early and often, then his ceiling could be pretty high. At his price, we don't need much for him to be the critical value spot we need on this slate. You could take a shot on one of the Lions TEs, but there isn't a much cheaper spot than Flournoy that I would take much of a risk on other than Kennedy.

Other Value Options: Isaac TeSlaa, David Montgomery, Jake Bates

Sample NFL DFS Lineup

Here is a lineup option I like for tonight's slate on FanDuel. Note that sample lineups are not intended to be used in contests by readers, but instead to show the type of roster construction that I am considering when building my lineups tonight.
