Today's NBA Picks: Top Player Props, Odds & Best Bets (Sunday 2/1/26)

Domantas Sabonis - Fantasy Basketball Rankings, DFS Picks, NBA Injury News

Get Thunder Dan Palyo's top NBA player props and expert picks for Sunday, 2/1/26. Uncover today's best value bets, model projections, and live odds to beat the books.

We rarely get a 10-game NBA slate on a Sunday. But with the NFL taking a week off before the Super Bowl, the NBA takes center stage today with some nationally-televised games. The Bucks and Celtics square off on ESPN at 3:30 PM EST, while we get a double-header on Peacock with the Lakers-Knicks game at 7:00 PM EST and the Thunder-Nuggets clash at 9:30 PM EST.

As always, I'm focused on finding the NBA props with the best combination of a high probability of hitting and odds that will provide the biggest return on your investment. You won't find longshot parlays here, but you also won't see a bunch of props at -150 odds either.

In this article, I will provide my favorite NBA player props picks for Sunday, February 1st. Prop picks can range from individual stats, such as points, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, and defensive statistics, to combination props (Points + Rebounds + Assists = PRA). All odds and sportsbooks used are listed, but it's always a good idea to shop around, as odds change throughout the day as bets are placed.

NBA Betting Props Finder Tool

A quick look at today's projections on our NBA Betting Props Finder tool and you'll see why I like Collin Murray-Boyles's PRA prop tonight.

When sorting by PRA (points, rebounds, and assists), CMB shows up as one of the top options with a 15% projected edge. Our projections have him going for 22.3 PRA tonight, while his prop is still sitting at 19.5 on several sites.

Today’s Best NBA Picks for Player Props

Let’s take a look at the top player props for today’s NBA slate:

Anthony Black over 8.5 Rebounds and Assists (-125 Fanatics)

Orlando heads to San Antonio tonight for what should be a great game between two pretty good teams. They'll continue to be without Franz Wagner in the lineup, which means I will continue to focus on Anthony Black for props.

His points prop is always in play, but I think the best angle here might be his rebounds and assists. He's a very good rebounder from the guard position, and he continues to be a solid assist guy for Orlando even with Jalen Suggs back in the lineup at point guard.

Black is playing huge minutes right now, logging 37 or more minutes in five straight games. He's gone over this number in 10 of his last 12 games in which he's played "starter's minutes," meaning 33 or more. I like a lot of his props in this one, but this 8.5 on his rebounds and assists feels like the safest option.

Ryan Rollins over 6.5 Assists (-110 Bet365)

Rollins and the Bucks will have a big challenge today in Boston, especially with their losing streak at four and their confidence obviously shaken after losing to a tanking Wizards team on Friday. However, I think this team can hang with Boston, and they have enough offensive firepower between Rollins, Myles Turner, Bobby Portis, and Kyle Kuzma to keep things competitive until late.

Rollins is the primary shot-creator on offense with Giannis Antetokounmpo and KPJ out, and I look for him to have a bunch of assist opportunities in this one, as the Celtics have allowed the most assists to opposing point guards of any NBA team over their last 15 games.

Rollins had eight dimes in the loss to Washington, and while he had only four against the Sixers, he had a ton of unfinished assists as his teammates missed a lot of open looks that he was able to create.

Keyonte George over 21.5 Points (-121 DK), (over 22.5 PTS, +119 NOVIG)

George is questionable for this game, but I think he probably see him play. I am going to hit this prop at the current 21.5 number for now, just in case. It's a number that George can beat against Toronto, which has allowed the third-most points to opposing point guards over their last 15 games.

George is averaging 24.2 points per game this season and has gone over this number in seven of his last 10. Utah is a big underdog according to Vegas, but when Lauri Markkanen and Jusuf Nurkic actually do play, they have been able to hang around with some good teams. As long as we get regular minutes from George tonight, I think he can easily beat this number.

Domantas Sabonis over 32.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists (-112 Bet365)

The Kings finally find themselves favored in a basketball game. They've been huge underdogs (double-digit spreads) in their last five games, but are 2.5-point favorites on the road in Washington against another equally bad team.

This is a (I apologize for the use of this term) SMASH SPOT for Sabo, as big men have had their way with the Wizards all season. He appears to finally be off a minutes cap and was rested in Friday's game against Boston, so he should be fresh and ready to do some major damage tonight. I have him conservatively projected for around 32-33 minutes tonight, and I think his two sub-30-minute games in the last week were largely due to blowouts and nothing else.

We saw him put up 13-6-5 against these Wizards in just 21 minutes in his first game back from two months off, back on January 16th. That type of per-minute production would put him well over 34 PRA tonight if he plays 32 minutes or more in what should be a pretty close, high-scoring, and winnable game for the Kings.

Top NBA Value Picks and Sleeper Props

Betting on superstars is always exciting, but the best value often lies in the margins of a roster. Role players and emerging contributors can offer hidden edges, especially as the season wears on and injuries start to shake up rotations. We don't want to wager only on superstars; it's often the role players and less-known players who may offer us the best markets.

Let’s dive into some of the top value plays for today’s NBA slate.

Pelle Larsson over 19.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists (+105 Fanatics), (-106 NOVIG)

Larsson has been playing some great basketball lately for Miami and has been thrust into bigger minutes and a bigger role with the Heat being down several key starters. Miami will face Chicago for the third time in four nights (very weird, right?), and Larsson has posted 24 and 35 PRA in the first two games of this series.

Tyler Herro isn't expected back, and Norman Powell has been dealing with a personal issue. So if we expect to see Larsson in a similar role against a familiar foe that he's already had success against, then it's hard not to like him to keep it up. He's averaging 24 PRA over his last five games, hitting the over on 19.5 in three of those and just narrowly missing with 19 PRA in the other two.

Collin Murray-Boyles over 20.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists (-105 Fanatics), (-125 NOVIG)

You might be able to find this one at 19.5 a few places with juice, but I like this matchup enough for CMB that I am willing to go in on him at 20.5 anyway, and I anticipate it will move in that direction during the course of the day.

The rookie big man has been awesome for the Raptors when given 30+ minutes a night as their starting center. He's facing a very poor defensive team tonight with the Jazz in town, as Utah is allowing the fourth-most points and second-most rebounds to opposing centers over their last 15 games.

CMB has been an excellent passer lately as well, dropping at least three dimes in six straight games. I think he'll get there tonight on way or another, even if he doesn't end up scoring a bunch of points.

Jaylon Tyson over 3.5 Assists (+115 Fanatics), (+114 NOVIG)

You guys know by now about my slight (very slight) obsession with Tyson. He finally missed a prop for us in his last game as the Cavs gave up a huge run to the Suns in the third quarter, and he missed his entire shift in the fourth quarter.

He had a stretch of seven games with at least four assists snapped in the loss to Phoenix.

However, he still finished with three assists in just 25 minutes, and I'm confident he would have had a fourth if he had played his full allotment of minutes. This should be a close game tonight, and I expect Tyson to continue to help initiate the offense for Cleveland.
