Koby's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Wednesday, 8/6/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Welcome Back, RotoBallers! We had a few high-scoring games last night with the Dodgers, Athletics, Blue Jays, and Padres all exceeding 10+ runs. It was a good day for the overs, and hopefully, we'll see a little more of that in tonight's games.
We have just five games on the slate for us tonight, and lucky for us, I'm not seeing any chance of rain in this one. Always make sure to keep an eye on the rain, as it could change at a moment's notice. Make sure to come hang with us in the RotoBaller Discord, as we'll be doing our best to help you make some extra cash for the upcoming NFL and NBA seasons!
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 8/6/2025, with the slate starting at 6:45 PM EST. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Jeffrey Springs, SP - ATH ($6.8K DK/$8.7K FD)
You know the slate is small when we have Springs in the top three of salaries on FanDuel. On DraftKings, though, Springs has been gifted to us. He makes for a great play, though; he has had back-to-back great outings against two playoff contenders in Seattle and Houston. Both of those resulted in five or more strikeouts and getting the win, plus the quality start.
Springs finds himself in a great matchup where he is away from home against the Washington Nationals. The Nationals have been the worst team in the league against lefties since the All-Star break. They are dead last in SLG, wOBA, and wRC+ with respective numbers of .229/.254/60.
On a slate like this, finding someone in as good a spot as this one isn't often. Take Springs while he is hot, going into this game against the slumping Nats.
George Kirby, SP - SEA ($9.9K DK/$9.2K FD)
I think the options are right here. Spencer Strider is good, but he is going up against one of the best teams in the league, the Brewers. Kirby gets quite the opposite in the Chicago White Sox, who were held to just two hits and one run against Bryan Woo just last night.
Kirby has seen his season go up and down, but recently, he has beaten up on teams, including a red-hot Rangers team and the LA Angels. In both games, he had six or more strikeouts and got the win plus a quality start. The White Sox have been a bit better recently against RHP, but going into the toughest hitters' park in the league is a tall task. Kirby should have no issues dominating this White Sox team and cruising to his third straight win.
Others To Consider (Cash/GPP):
- Nestor Cortes, SP - SDP ($6.9K DK/$6.7K FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Shea Langeliers, C - ATH ($5K DK/$3.1K FD)
I don't think anyone is hotter than Shea Langeliers right now. He is coming off a three-home run game in last night's contest. He has eight home runs in his last 10 games and is getting a magical matchup against a pitcher who hasn't pitched in the big leagues since 2022.
Cade Cavalli played back in 2022, but had a string of injuries that have kept him out until now. He has a 6.09 ERA in Triple-A this season, and truly just hasn't been good in the Nationals' farm. They need him to start, however, and this Athletics team should be able to take advantage of him.

Cavalli is also a reverse split guy. He has been blown up this season by RHH, as they are hitting .329 off of him. He is also pushing a 1.80 WHIP against RHH. This is just a recipe for disaster, and it truly feels like the Nationals have thrown in the towel by calling him up here.
Eugenio Suarez, 3B - SEA ($6K DK/$3.7K FD)
As a Mariners Fan, I'm so happy to see Suarez back in Seattle. He is still working his way back into a groove, but he hit his first home run last night with Seattle. Suarez has dominated RHP this season. He has 25 of his 36 home runs against RHP, and is putting up a 143 wRC+ in the process. He is also pushing out some hard power numbers with an SLG of .565 and an ISO of .301
Jonathan Cannon just hasn't been good this season with a 4.77 ERA and 4.93 FIP. LHH has hit him harder than the RHH, but he is still getting hit for a .319 wOBA and a .426 SLG this season. This is a great spot for Suarez to go back-to-back, especially if the wind keeps blowing out to left-center here in Seattle.
- Manny Machado, 3B - SDP ($5.6K DK/$3.7K FD)
- Matt Olson, 1B - ATL ($5.5K DK/$3.5K FD)
- Cole Young, 2B/SS (FD Only) - SEA ($2.1K DK/$2.5K FD)
- Nick Kurtz, 1B - ATH ($6.1K DK/$4K FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Fernando Tatis Jr., OF - SDP ($5.8K DK/$3.7K FD)
I have to get one chalk cash play in here somewhere. Tatis has been a bit lacking in the power department recently, but he finds himself in a great matchup against Anthony DeSclafani. RHH has smoked him this season to the tune of a .342 wOBA and a .541 SLG. DeSclafani finds himself with a 4.91 ERA and a 5.91 FIP this season in nine appearances.
Tatis has hit 15 of his 17 home runs off of RHP this season and has amassed 146 wRC+ this season with a .487 SLG and .201 ISO to go along with it. DeSclafani is not a good pitcher, and it's going to be hot in Arizona. Those balls should fly, and I'm expecting a huge game from Tatis and company.
Michael Harris II, OF - ATL ($3.4K DK/$2.6K FD)
I don't normally like taking left-on-left matchups, but this one has me intrigued, especially at Harris's price. Harris has hit lefties a bit harder this season with a .398 SLG and a .167 ISO, both of which are 30 points higher than against righties.

Jose Quintana has been significantly worse against LHH as well. Quintana against LHH has resulted in a .344 wOBA and .473 SLG, and again, these are both quite a bit higher than against righties. This matchup feels good, and Harris is hitting the ball better recently.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Brent Rooker, OF - ATH ($5.2K DK/$3.5K FD)
- Julio Rodriguez, OF - SEA ($5.3K DK/$3.3K FD)
- Jurickson Profar, OF - ATL ($3.9K DK/$2.9K FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
1. Athletics vs Cade Cavalli
I would be surprised if Cavalli makes it through more than four innings here. He is set up for failure in this one with a hot Athletics lineup that just put up 16 runs on the Nats just last night. Hopefully, they didn't blow their whole load into one game, because they have a big opportunity here.
Favorite Combo: Rooker, Langeliers, Kurtz, Hernaiz
2. Atlanta Braves vs Jose Quintana
This Braves team is a risky stack, as they don't have Ronald Acuna Jr. in the lineup. That being said, though, they still have the fifth-highest wRC+ of 122 against LHP since the All-Star break. I think a lot of people will play the Padres, with them having the highest IRT on the slate. The Braves make for an interesting GPP stack and could be a tournament winner if all goes to plan.
Favorite Combo: Harris II, Olson, Profar, Ozuna
3. Seattle Mariners vs Jonathan Cannon
I think this one is a bit more GPP, as Seattle is very well known for just randomly not showing up to games they should slaughter. This lineup is looking too good not to stack. They have been very good in up and down their lineup, almost all are hitting .250 or better this season.
Favorite Combo: Rodriguez, Naylor, Suarez, Young
