MLB DFS Picks Today: Daily Fantasy Baseball Strategy and Tips For FanDuel, DraftKings (7/13/25)

Jesus Sanchez - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

Andy's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Sunday, 7/13/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Happy Sunday, RotoBallers! We have just one more day of MLB action before we take a few days off for the All-Star break. However, we have an action-packed 11-game slate, which means we have many pitchers and stacks to target.

On the pitching side, we have a few aces taking the mound who could be in line to enjoy a big afternoon. On this hitting side, we will highlight the red-hot Milwaukee Brewers.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/13/2025, with the slate starting at 1:35 PM EST. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge is back with a massive $500,000 grand prize and $1.35 million total prize pool, paying down to 800th place. Here's the deal: no salary cap, no draft, no pickups, no subs. Choose 10 players, and as NFL teams get knocked out so will your players, so choose your team wisely. The 7,250 entries will sell out quickly, and registrations will close on Saturday January 10th at 4:30 pm ET . Don't wait - get your team now and end your fantasy football season with a shot at $500,000! Sign Up Now!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

All advanced metrics referenced are from June 15 and forward

Eury Perez, SP - MIA at BAL ($6.5K DK/$8.5K FD)

After a modest start working his way back from Tommy John surgery, the former top prospect has reestablished this elite form and should be viewed as a top play this afternoon facing the Orioles. Since June 25, the Orioles have posted the sixth-highest strikeout rate, which should provide Perez with high upside in this matchup.

Over his last two outings, Perez has posted a 0.82 ERA, 0.36 WHIP, with a 15:1 K:BB (across 11 innings). Sitting with a $6.5K salary on DraftKings, he is a must-play.

Freddy Peralta, SP - MIL vs. WSH ($10K DK/$9.7K FD)

The Milwaukee ace has enjoyed another productive season and has one of the best matchups on the slate, facing the Washington Nationals. Over his last 34 innings, Peralta has posted a 2.38 ERA with a stellar 0.82 WHIP.

This afternoon, he will face the Nationals, who have generated the ninth-lowest ISO and sit just above the average marks in wRC+ and wOBA.

Jack Flaherty, SP - DET vs. SEA ($8.5K DK/$9K FD)

Since allowing eight runs on June 20, Jack Flaherty has begun to turn the corner. Overall, he has had a high 4.15 ERA in his last three starts, but he has still held a high 4.15 ERA but has flared very high strikeout upside, tallying 24 through just 17 1/3 innings.

It is a strong contrarian play that still holds strikeout upside as he faces the Mariners, who have posted the 15th-highest K% and the fifth-lowest BB%.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Note: All advanced metrics referenced are from June 15 to the present.

Noelvi Marte, 3B - CIN vs. Austin Gomber ($3.9K DK/$3.4K FD)

Entering Saturday, Noelvi Marte has gone 6-for-15 with a double and two home runs over his last five contests. He has brought in three runs and scored three times.

This afternoon, he will look to start facing Colorado's southpaw, Austin Gomber. Gomber has struggled to develop his fastball as it has generated a high .427 xwOBA during his two starts in July. When facing four-seamers from left-handed pitching, Marte has generated an elite .535 xwOBA with a .441 xSLG.

Otto Lopez, SS on DK, 2B/SS on FD - MIA at Brandon Young ($3.4K DK/$3K FD)

Otto Lopez has quietly enjoyed a productive season and is in a prime position to continue finding success this afternoon. Over his last seven games entering Saturday, Lopez has held a .720 OPS with two home runs and a stolen base.

This afternoon, he will face Baltimore right-hander Brandon Young, who relies heavily on his four-seamer. When facing four-seam fastballs, Lopez has generated a strong .496 xwOBA with a .423 xwOBA.

William Contreras, C - MIL vs. Jake Irvin ($4.2K DK/$2.9K FD)

While the backstop had a rough start to the season, he is beginning to turn the corner and has one of the best matchups on the slate, facing Washington right-hander Jake Irvin. Entering Saturday, Contreras has held a strong .310/.355/.448 slash line with four doubles over his last seven contests.

Irvin enters this game holding a hefty 5.43 xERA and a .278 xBA, both of which place him in the seventh and 15th percentile, respectively.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

All advanced metrics referenced are from June 15 and forward

Christian Yelich, OF - MIL vs. Jake Irvin ($4.9K DK/$3.6K FD)

Christian Yelich has played a significant role in Milwaukee's rise in the NL Central standings and should continue to lead the Milwaukee offense facing Irvin. Irvin has thrown his fastball 46.8% of the time in July, and this pitch has not been effective, carrying a high .392 xwOBA.

When facing four-seamers from right-handed pitching, Yelich has generated a remarkable .768 xSLG with a .488 xwOBa. He is a must-play this afternoon.

Jesus Sanchez, OF - MIA at Brandon Young ($3.6K DK/$2.8K FD)

Jesus Sanchez is in an excellent spot to snap his ong 21-game home run slump. Facing the four-seamer-heavy Young, Sanchez should be in a prime position to showcase his raw power. When facing four-seam form right-handed pitching, Sanchez has posted an elite .725 xSLG with a .481 xwOBA.

Before his HR slump, Sanchez went deep three times over his last nine games. Expect the slugger to kickstart a new power surge this afternoon.

Austin Hays, OF - CIN vs. Austin Gomber ($4.8K DK/$3.3K FD)

Like his teammate Marte, Hays has an elite matchup against Gomber, who has struggled to find success with his four-seam fastball. When facing fastballs from left-handed pitching, Hays has posted a remarkable 1.314 xwOBA.

Over his last 11 games, Hays has tallied five extra-base hits (two home runs), nine RBI, and scored six runs. He is a top option, playing in a hitter's paradise in Cincinnati.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

All advanced metrics referenced are from June 15 and forward

1. Cincinnati Reds vs. Austin Gomber

Through his first two starts in July, the left-handed pitcher has logged 9 2/3 innings to the tune of a 5.69 ERA with a 1.76 WHIP. During this stretch, Gomber has struck out just six batters and allowed seven runs, including two long balls.

As noted above, his four-seamer has generated a 427 xwOBA in July. The Reds are a high-upside stack this afternoon.

Favorite Combo: Marte, Hays, Stephenson, De La Cruz

2. Miami Marlins at Brandon Young

The Marlins are a solid stack option against Young, who enters this game with a 6.14 ERA and a 1.73 WHIP through his first 22 MLB innings. Under the hood, he has allowed a high 9.0% barrel rate with a 44.8% hard-hit rate.

His four-seamer sits with a .350 xwOBA and a .306 xBA, which he deploys just over 40.0% of the time.

Favorite Combo: Sanchez, Lopez, Ramirez, Stowers

3. Milwaukee Brewers vs. Jake Irvin

My final stack to consider is the Milwaukee Brewers, who will face the Nationals. Since tossing an eight-inning shutout on May 24, Irvin has been one of the worst starting pitchers in baseball. Through his last 42 2/3 innings of work, Irvin has posted a hefty 6.96 ERA with a 1.64 WHIP.

In July, his four-seamer (deployed 46.8% of the time) has posted a high .392 xwOBA.

Favorite Combo: Yelich, Contreras, Chourio, Vaughn
