Mid-Week Waiver Wire Rankings - Fantasy Baseball Pickups: Junior Caminero, Jace Jung, Kerry Carpenter, Jake McCarthy, Shay Whitcomb

Junior Caminero - Fantasy Baseball Prospects, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers

Mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 21 (2024). Free-agent hitters and pitchers to add include Junior Caminero, Zebby Matthews, Kerry Carpenter, Jake McCarthy.

At RotoBaller HQ, we are back with more waiver-wire articles. There are only 1.5 months left in the MLB season, and it's time to build those rosters for the championship run. We are here to help prioritize which players to add with our mid-week waiver rankings for Week 21 -- August 12 through August 18 -- to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves.

It finally happened as the Tampa Bay Rays finally called up top prospect Junior Caminero. At the same time, Deyvison De Los Santos, Agustin Ramirez, Trey Sweeney, Kyle Manzardo, and Shay Whitcomb patiently wait for the call to the show. Some notable recent performances include Diamondbacks outfielder Jake McCarthy, who has been on an eight-game hitting streak. McCarthy is slashing .441/.472/.794 with three home runs, 15 RBI, five runs, and a stolen base during the streak. Detroit Tigers outfielder Kerry Carpenter recently returned from the injured list and has homered thrice over the last two games.

This edition features Junior Caminero, Jake McCarthy, Shay Whitcomb, Jace Jung, Kerry Carpenter, Zebby Matthews, Austin Wells, Josh Bell, David Festa, DJ Herz, and Deyvison De Los Santos. We're here, as always, to help you stay on top of the latest waiver-wire options, especially in leagues that allow for daily moves. Prospects who are making impacts continue to be called up, so you'll need to be informed. Stay on top of our weekly waiver wire rankings and turn on MLB news alerts to stay ahead of the curve. Once you're done here, check out our fantasy baseball prospects articles for the latest names to stash and pick up.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

For anyone unfamiliar, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free-agent adds off waivers.

In addition, we are also putting out a second waiver wire rankings list mid-week. Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver-wire moves or multiple waiver-wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday.

This article will guide you through our weekly ranking of the relevant waiver-wire pickup options, including how to prioritize them for your league (depending on the league size). The roster percentage is from Yahoo! leagues.
