LPL & LCK DFS Picks (7/15/21) - DraftKings and FanDuel League of Legends Daily Fantasy

Nolan's expert League of Legends (LoL) DFS advice and DraftKings/FanDuel lineup picks for LPL & LCK on 7/15/21. His top LoL value plays and esports DFS recommendations.

Welcome back summoners, to another LOL breakdown article featuring Four matchups tomorrow from the LPL and LCK. Let's see where we can find angles to attack the next slate.

Roster changes will be addressed if need be when mentioning each team.  As a friendly reminder, if you can't stomach any sub risk or don't enjoy waking up early, then figure a way to roster players that don't hold any sub risk.

I'll provide my League of Legends advice, analysis, and picks, for this LPL & LCK slate on DraftKings and FanDuel that locks at 4:00 AM on Thursday, July 15th, 2021. If you have any questions about the slate or anything please reach out to me on Twitter @nolanroth10. I'll do my best to provide some useful analysis. The odds listed are from Bovada. Let's jump right into the matchups!

LCK Matches

KT vs. T1 (-260)

DWG (-285) vs. NS

LPL Matches

V5 vs. RNG (-2000)

BLG vs. TES (-310)

CAPTAIN/STAR

Knight- TES: TES likely take this series 2-0 and Knight has been an absolute beast. He has a KDA of 6 and owns a 34.2% kill share. He has reached double digits in kills in all but one series this split.

Xiaohu - RNG: RNG have now swept their last two matches and look to make it a third 2-0 going up against V5. Xiaohu is a monster in the top lane and is a cheaper option in the captain spot to help fill in the rest of your lineup. He is also tied with GALA for the most kills on the team.

TOP

Xiaohu - RNG: If he isn't your captain this is an easy choice.

Canna- T1: Canna leads T1 with a 27.9% kill share. While his last series wasn't great, he had been on a solid run before that. If Xiaohu is your captain, Canna fits nicely in the top lane slot.

JUNGLE

Wei- RNG: Wei has been great in RNG's last two series wins, reaching double digits in both kills and assists in both matches. He is a very important player for RNG and V5 is no match for this rejuvenated RNG squad.

Karsa- TES: Let me start by saying I definitely prefer Wei on this slate, but Karsa comes in cheaper on DK so he can be considered if needing the savings. It is very feasible to see TES finish this slate with the most kills through two games and get the game not played bonus as well. Karsa is third on his team in kill share, but he has been racking up the assists.

MID

Knight - TES: Knight is the easiest choice of the slate in the mid-lane if you haven't chosen him as your captain.

Showmaker - DWG: Showmaker has been living up to his name recently and is really coming alive during DWG three-game win streak. DWG has won their last three matchups 2-0 and Showmaker has averaged 86.4 points during that span. While I am not going to predict another 2-0 sweep it certainly is a possibility and Showmaker is an important piece in the DWG puzzle.

ADC

GALA - RNG: GALA is the most expensive player on both sites, but he is one of the first players I am looking to get in my lineups on this slate. He is tied with Xiaohu in kill share at 27.8% and is one of those players that's capable of absolutely popping off in any game. Up against V5 GALA should be able to absolutely dominate and we might just see one of those pop-off games.

JackeyLove - TES: Over on FD JackeyLove is incredibly underpriced and will likely be pretty popular because of it. That could lead some people away from GALA. On DK he is only $200 less than GALA. JackeyLove is second on TES in kill share at 25.8% and much like GALA is one of those players capable of taking over a game on his own and putting up an insane stat line. Both JackeyLove and GALA are fantastic plays on this slate.

SUPPORT

Beryl - DWG: Beryl is absolutely not my favorite support play on this slate, but fitting in all the RNG/TES players we need to save some salary somewhere. Beryl has had his struggles this split, but DWG is now on a 3 game win streak and are beginning to look like they have figured it out. Beryl probably won't be the highest scoring support but at his price point, he doesn't need to be.

Keria - T1: Again, if you can fit either Ming or Yuyanjia into your build go ahead and do so, but support is likely where we need to take the savings this slate. Keria is a cheaper option and that is why he makes the write-up. Beryl is cheaper on DK and Keria is cheaper on FD and that is how I ultimately would make my decision.

TEAM

RNG: RNG is the biggest favorite on the slate. If you aren't playing four RNG players and have the salary left in the team slot they are a solid choice.

T1: The team slot is often a good spot to roster the LCK teams. Their players often don't have the same upside as the LPL teams as the games usually feature lower kill totals. However, kills do not matter in the team slot and T1 is still a sizeable favorite. T1 is the cheapest of the favorites on this slate and I don't see any real upset potential.

FINAL THOUGHTS

RNG and TES are where you want to go on this slate. Both teams have no trouble fighting and that is exactly what we are hoping for. I always look for an angle on an underdog but I don't feel confident in any of them winning a series on this slate. TES,RNG,T1,DWG is how I would rank the favorites for this slate. As always reach out to me on Twitter if you have any questions.

That's it, for now, Summoners, good luck tomorrow!
