Welcome back to another League of Legends DFS fantasy slate! We are now into the second half of the summer split with each game becoming more important as teams look to clinch their spot in the playoffs.

LEC Matches

BDS (+125) vs. SK (-162)

We get two of the bottom teams in terms of LEC standings here with BDS and SK. SK managed to pull off a 2-0 weekend in week 4 grabbing their second and third wins of the season. Before last week their only win came against BDS all the way back in week one. BDS on the other hand sits in sole possession of last place at 1-8.

Agresivoo has the highest kill share percentage of any top laner in the LEC, the only issue with that is BDS has the lowest kill total numbers in the league. Mid laner Nuclearint has been able to put together a few impressive performances and has been their most consistent player this split.

Against BDS everyone on SK is in play, but Sertuss, Jezu, and JNX have the potential to light up the scoreboard. Sertuss has a 37% KS and really dominated last week on Akali and Sylas, hopefully, we get to see him back on one of those champions here. JNX also had a great game on Sylas top and has shown a large champion pool this split. As long as he is on a champion with some kill pressure we should see a good scoreline in this one.

Top BDS plays: Agresivoo, Nuclearint

Top SK plays: Sertuss, JNX, Jezu, Treatz

MSF (-105) vs. XL (-122)

MSF has really turned their split around after dropping their first 4 games. They now sit at 5-4 and are in a 4-way tie for third place. XL now also sits at 5-4 after losing to both SK and AST last week. Those are both games that they were heavily favored for going into. MSF games have been great from a DFS perspective as the winning team has put up large kill numbers in the majority of their 9 games.

Much like last split Vetheo and Neon have dominated the kills for MSF, both have 27% KS but Vetheo just edges Neon in KP at 72% compared to Neon's 65%.

For XL both Patrik and Markoon sit above 30% KS with Markoon, Nukeduck, and Mikyx having a 70+% KP. Markoon is a superstar jungler in the making and has been a big part of  XL's success this split. I have been disappointed in Finn's lack of impact in the games and he has been relegated to tank duty in recent games.

Top MSF plays: Vetheo, Neon, Mersa

Top XL plays: Markoon, Patrik, Mikyx

G2 (-350) vs. AST (+250)

G2 has now lost four games in a row after looking like the team to beat early on this split. While I have no doubt they will make playoffs, the recent performances certainly leave the door open for an AST upset here. AST had a nice comeback against XL and took the win, they also were able to fight back against MAD before eventually losing the game. This is certainly a game in that you can take a shot on the underdog in large fields but we could also see G2 come locked in and smash them ending the losing streak.

Top G2 plays: Caps, BrokenBlade, Targamas

Top AST plays: Kobbe, Jeonghoon, Xerxe

VIT (+125) vs. MAD (-165)

VIT had an extremely tough draw last week facing both RGE and FNC but was able to come out of it 1-1. They have another test here with MAD who has had a fantastic split this summer. MAD has the best kills-to-death ratio in the league by a large margin. This game will be a good test for both teams.

Haru and Perkz continue to be the two members of VIT dominating the kill share which gives them the highest upside in any given game.

MAD has been my favorite team to watch this split. The way Elyoya and Nisqy roam the map together has been the reason MAD sits second in the standings. Almost no play happens without Nisqy as seen by his 78% KP. Unforgiven has a massive lead in terms of KS with 35% of the kills, Elyoya is the next closest at just 21%.

Top VIT plays: Haru, Perkz

Top MAD plays: Unforigven, Nisqy, Elyoya, Kaiser

RGE (-155) vs. FNC (+120)

At the beginning of last week, RGE and FNC were tied for first place but at the conclusion of the week, RGE sits 2 games ahead and is in sole possession of first. RGE continues to be the king of the regular season as they are consistently at or near the top of the standings. I have a feeling we could see plenty of team fights in this one, so make sure you find some exposure to this game.

RGE is the only team with 4 players above 70%KP. That is great for DFS scoring as we know the entire team should be involved. Comp has an insane 79.8% KP and 37.8% KS making him an absolute must-play in RGE stacks.

FNC similar to RGE play to get their bottom lane ahead. Upset carries a 32% KS which is 7% higher than the next closest member. Hylissang has had a down split but he is still more than capable of putting up big numbers at the support spot.

Top RGE plays: Comp, Trymbi, Larssen, Odo

Top FNC plays: Upset, Hylissang, Razork

Summary

  1. GPP Stacks: FNC, AST, MSF, RGE
  2. Cash Stacks: SK, MAD, G2

Good luck tomorrow RotoBallers!
