LEC DFS Picks (2/5/22) - DraftKings and FanDuel League of Legends Daily Fantasy

Nolan's expert League of Legends (LoL) DFS advice and DraftKings, FanDuel lineup picks for LEC on 2/5/22. His top LoL value plays and eSports DFS recommendations.

Welcome back to another League of Legends DFS fantasy slate! We are now onto week 4 of the LEC. At the end of the slate, we will already be halfway through the split.

Last week we saw Rogue remain undefeated making easy work of Fnatic and Vitality. Fnatic dropped both games allowing G2 to jump them in the standings, meanwhile, Astralis is at the bottom of the standings as they are still yet to pick up a win.

I'll provide my League of Legends DFS advice, analysis, and lineup picks for this LEC slate on DraftKings and FanDuel that locks at 11:00 AM EST on Saturday, February 5th, 2022. If you have any questions about the slate or anything please reach out to me on Twitter @nolanroth10. I'll do my best to provide some useful analysis, and the odds listed are from Pinnacle. Let's jump right into the matchups, and good luck RotoBallers.

LEC Matches

SK (+142) vs. MSF (-190)

SK took down Astralis on Friday dropping AST to 0-8 on the split. AST had the lead in the early game but somehow managed to throw all the jungle objectives. I don't have much faith in SK having a 2-0 week up against MSF who have played well this split. MSF just lost to VIT but overall still looked good. I like targeting MSF on this slate up against the weaker SK.

Vetheo is the star for MSF and my favorite play in this game. He has a 71.7% KP with a 32% KS. Neon is second in KS at 29.1% and is worth playing as well. SK jungler Gillius has been really bad this split, MSF jungler Shlatan should be able to have his way in this matchup which will help his laners to find advantages as well.

Top MSF plays: Vetheo, Neon, Shlatan, HiRit

FNC (-350) vs. XL (+255)

FNC is a big favorite up against XL, but XL have been playing slow paced games that can lack the kill totals we are looking for. I still like FNC as a play, but they will not be my top stack on the slate. FNC just took down MAD and looked like they are back in form after losing 2 games last week.

Upset is the clear kill threat for FNC with a 31.7% KS, 10% higher then anyone else on the team. Upset's bot lane partner in Hylissang has been excellent as well with a 81.2% KP. FNC have been putting Wunder onto tank top laners recently which makes me like him less than previous weeks. Humanoid had a monster game against his former team and could carry that into this game with a mismatch in the mid lane

Top FNC plays: Upset, Hylissang, Humanoid, Razork

VIT (-550) vs. AST (+350)

VIT is coming off a win which they piled up the kills against MSF, meanwhile AST looked bad again in another loss to SK. VIT is my favorite team of the day and each and every member is playable.

Last game for VIT was the Perkz and Carzzy show and they had a really strong overall draft composition. They are starting to play better together as a team and the chemistry is starting to show. As I mentioned all of VIT are in play, Perkz, Selfmade and Carzzy would be my core, swapping out Labrov and Alphari to round out my 4 man stack.

Top VIT plays: Selfmade, Perkz, Carzzy. Alphari, Labrov

BDS (+200) vs. MAD (-275)

BDS just got dismantled by G2 last game and we could see a repeat here against MAD. MAD is coming off a loss to FNC and will not want to drop two games this week. This is a very exploitable matchup and MAD are always willing to fight.

MAD have two clear carries in Elyoya and Unforgiven, they combine for 65.5% of the KS and are the two must haves in MAD lineups. Kaiser is my next favorite play as he has excellent jungle synergy with Elyoya. He is capable of being the highest scoring support on the slate. Reeker continues to put up mediocre numbers and I am taking a wait and see approach before feeling comfortable playing him with all the strong mid laners.

Top MAD plays: Elyoya, Unforgiven, Kaiser, Armut

RGE (-220) vs. G2 (+155)

RGE and G2 should be a fun game, RGE is yet to beat G2 in a regular season game in LEC history but its hard not to think that streak ends here. RGE just stomped XL winning the quickest game of the split and are currently the top team in the league. G2 games can be bloody and historically the G2/RGE games have been. Both teams look much different this split then in years past so there are no guarantees we see the same type of game. I like RGE as one of the top plays of the slate, but G2 could be the best GPP upset play on the slate.

For G2, Caps has really stepped up his play the last few games, he is my favorite play for G2. Flakked and Broken Blade are the top two in KS%. Those 3 will be the main kill threats for G2 should they pull off the upset.

For Rogue, everyone has been playing well. Comp sits at a 36% KS and 77.5% KP and continues to be an excellent play. Larssen has looked real strong the last few games and I would look to capitalize on the hot streak. Trymbi is the shotcaller for Rogue and has been very involved with his 73.9% KP.

Top G2 plays: Caps, Flakked, Broken Blade

Top RGE plays: Comp, Trymbi, Larssen, Malrang, Odoamne

Summary

  1. TLDR: Favorites rule the day on this slate. VIT/MSF/MAD/RGE top plays
  2. GPP Stacks: My favorite combinations for GPP stacks are G2/MAD/MSF
  3. Cash Stacks: For cash, RGE/VIT/MAD

Good luck tomorrow RotoBallers!
