LEC DFS Lineup Picks for 7/24/21 - FanDuel, DraftKings League Of Legends Daily Fantasy

Nolan Roth's League of Leagues (LoL) analysis and LEC DFS lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings on 7/24/21. He discusses the LEC LoL slates and his top targets.

Welcome to RotoBaller's coverage of League of Legends DFS for both FanDuel and DraftKings. Be on the lookout for coverage of the LPL, LCK, and LCS as well as we have some great analysts covering all LoL leagues for the Summer split. Today, I am focusing on the 5-game LEC slate with contests available on FanDuel and DraftKings.

We are down to the final two weeks of the LEC summer split. It is now crunch time for many of the teams looking to make a push into playoffs. 5 of the 6 spots are all but locked in, but we could still see a push from some of the bottom teams for that last spot in the playoffs.

Today I'll be bringing you my top League of Legends advice, analysis, and picks, for the LEC slate on Saturday, July 24th, 2021 at 11:00 AM EST. You can check me out on Twitter @nolanroth10 and follow me for more LOL content!

LEC DFS Matchups

  • Schalke (-115) vs. Astralis (-115)
  • Vitality (-200) vs. XL
  • Rogue (-165) vs. Mad Lions
  • SK  vs. Fnatic (-425)
  • Misfits vs. G2 (-155)

Captain/MVP

Bwipo - FNC: Bwipo leads Fnatic in kill participation and does a great job at initiating winning fights for the team. He comes in cheaper than some of his teammates and brings just as much upside in the captain role.

MagiFelix – AST: MagiFelix dominates the kill share for Astralis at 32.4%. In games Astralis win, M.F has had some monster scores most recently going 9/4/4 in their last win against Misfits. This is an important game for Astralis, which means we should see MagiFelix on a carry champion.

TOP

Adam - FNC: Adam gets a very favorable matchup against SK. He went 4/0/7 against them earlier this split and will look to put up a similar stat line in this game. Adam leads all of the top lane in kills this split.

WhiteKnight- AST: Astralis is battling for the last playoff spot so every game counts for them. Luckily they get to face Schalke who is all but dead and is last place for a reason.  BrokenBlade isn’t an easy matchup but teams have figured out if you shut down B.B Schalke has nothing. Look for Astralis to send lots of pressure up to the top lane and WhiteKnight to benefit from it

JUNGLE

Bwipo – FNC: If you haven't chosen Bwipo in the captain slot, he is worth considering here

Jankos – G2: The last time G2 and Misfits played, G2 blew a 10k gold lead after a bad elder dragon fight. I don’t expect that to happen again and this game has a very high kill potential. Jankos leads G2 in kill participation

Zanzarah – AST: Zanzarah has an impressive 76.7% kill participation for Astralis. As mentioned with WhiteKnight, Astralis need every win they can get meanwhile Schalke is just enjoying their last few weeks in the LEC. Zanzarah hit the 10KA+ bonus in his last game against Schalke with 12 assists.

MID

Nisqy - FNC: Everyone from Fnatic is in play going up against SK, deciding which of the 5 not to play might be the toughest part. Nisqy has been playing really well and we have seen some monster scores from him recently. He should have no trouble dominating the mid-lane up against Blue.

MagiFelix – AST: MagiFelix is in play here if you haven't chosen him as captain.

ADC

Upset - FNC: Upset is the league leader in kills and will look to add to his total in this easy matchup against SK. Fnatic put up 21 kills in their last game against SK. Upset actually had the lowest kill total on the team in that game with 3 however I don't expect that to be the case in this one.

Rekkles - G2: Rekkles leads G2 in kill share and gold share. We know G2 wants to funnel resources his way and let him take over the game. G2 has a tough game against Misfits so we should see it get into the late game where Rekkles can shine.

SUPPORT

Hylissang- FNC: Hylissang is one of my favorite supports to play in DFS. First off he plays on Fnatic who love to fight and secondly he is one of the most aggressive supports in the league. That is a recipe for success in your lineups. He has the highest upside of any support on this slate.

Mikyx – G2: Mikyx has been given a counter pick in 79% of G2 games this split, not to mention Rekkles is over 50% as well. G2 bottom lane is often drafted into a winning matchup. G2 should look to play around the bottom lane and have Mikyx rack up assists because of it.

TEAM

Astralis: Schalke is the worst team in the league at securing both dragon and baron. Astralis have not been all that great either, but they are the better team in this game and someone is going to be taking the neutral objectives. My money is on Astralis to take this one and boost up their numbers.

G2: As mentioned earlier G2 blew a 10k gold lead in their last game against Misfits. They still managed to put up 23 points in the loss. G2 are more focused now and have been finding their groove and are second in the league in both dragon and baron control.

Final Thoughts

The Rogue/ Mad Lions game and the G2/ Misfits game are both going to be great games to watch. Fnatic is an easy choice up against SK and will be very popular in both cash and gpp. I don't mind taking some shots on XL up against the struggling Vitality as a cheaper play. I think Astralis comes out and plays well against Schalke and gets a very important win for them.
