LEC DFS Matchups

  • Vitality (-325) vs. Astralis
  • SK vs. Rogue (-650)
  • Misfits vs. Mad Lions (-135)
  • Schalke vs. Fnatic (-300)
  • G2 (-600) vs. XL

Captain/MVP

Bwipo - FNC: Fnatic have been playing really well winning their last five games. They are a team that loves to fight and Bwipo is often right in the center of it. Bwipo continues to be cheap and is averaging 13.2 K+A per game. Fnatic leads the league in kills and Bwipo has been involved in 73.2% of them. He also goes up against Kirei who through seven games has been statistically the worst jungler in the LEC.

Crownshot– VIT: Crownshot has really come on during Vitality’s three-game win streak. He has 11 kills and 15 assists with 0 deaths in last week's games. Vitality goes up against Astralis who have lost five in a row and are a team that likes to fight. Astralis bot lane combines for 47.5% of their team's deaths. To make it even better Crownshot has a 30.3% kill share for Vitality.

TOP

Adam - FNC:  Adam continues to put up good numbers and looked very good on Renekton during their win against G2. Adam has a counter pick rate of 71% which has allowed him to find favorable matchups in his lane. His early lane stats have actually been quite poor but he has been able to really dominate in team fights. He is second amongst top laners in kills with 30 with the next closest having 19. DFS wise Adam and Misfits HiRit have been the only two worth playing.

HiRit- MSF: HiRit leads all top laners in kills with 35 and has a 29.2% kill share. Misfits have a tough matchup against the Mad Lions, but HiRit has been fantastic in this split and has been over the 30 fantasy point mark in 5 of 7 games so far. Even in Misfits loss against Rogue HiRit managed to put up 9 kills and 3 assists.

JUNGLE

Bwipo – FNC: If you haven't chosen Bwipo in the captain slot, he is worth considering here

SelfMade - VIT: SelfMade has a 70.8% kill participation and as I mentioned earlier Astralis has been struggling and are a team that is willing to fight. SelfMade’s kill share is only 16.9% so he should be stacked with other more kill prominent Vitality players as he racks up the assists.

Jankos – G2: It is not very often G2 loses two games in a weekend. This week they should be looking to come out and make a statement and who better to do it against than XL. XL are changing up their roster this week and while the changes cant make them any worse a game against G2 doesn’t do them any favors. Jankos is second on the team in both kill share and kill participation.

MID

Lider - VIT: Lider leads Vitality in kill share at 31.5%. Aside from last week, his fantasy numbers have not been great, but Vitality is really starting to play well and has become more aggressive across the map. Crownshot, SelfMade, and Lider is a nice way to start lineups on this slate.

Nisqy – FNC: Nisqy continues to be one of the cheaper Fnatic members. He has gone under 30 fantasy points in just one of the last five games. While his kill share has been dropping, we know Fnatic loves to fight, and pairing him up with other Fnatic members is a great idea.

ADC

Crownshot - VIT: If you haven't played Crownshot at the captain position, lock him in here

Rekkles – G2: G2 had a really bad week and Rekkles has still managed to be in the top three in kills in the LEC. He has a 30.8% kill share and is going up against one of the worst teams in the league. I expect G2 to make this a statement game and Rekkles will be heavily involved.

Upset - FNC: Upset has been really good this split for Fnatic, but apart from a few games he has lacked the upside we want out of an ADC. He is clearly capable of putting up monster numbers on any given game but he has only topped four kills in one game so far. Upset is better suited in a Fnatic stack and there are better Fnatic plays for the captain role on this slate.

SUPPORT

Hylissang- FNC: Hylissang is a great choice for your support spot on this slate, he has a 71% counter pick rate, whereas Limit sits at 43%. Hylissang has no trouble starting up fights for his team and while his death numbers are sometimes high his assist numbers make it worth it.

Mikyx – G2: I debated on putting Labrov here, but he just hasn’t put up the numbers we're looking for consistently. Mikyx, on the other hand, has been getting it done, he even put up over 20 points in a loss against Fnatic, and as a support that’s tough to do. Mikyx has a 72.9.% kill participation and as mentioned earlier I expect a statement game from G2 in this one.

TEAM

Rogue: Rogue as a team is worth a look on this slate. SK has really struggled this split and Rogue should have no trouble handing them another loss. Rogue games typically are not all that bloody, but that doesn’t matter in the team slot. Their games are usually more drawn out which is perfect for racking up dragons and barons.

G2: There is no way G2 is going to lose three games in a row, especially not against XL. Both their dragon and baron control rates are higher than XL’s and overall they are stronger at every position.

Final Thoughts

Vitality, Fnatic, and G2 are the main teams I will be using on this slate. The Misfits and Mad Lions game has some intrigue as well, but I will just be using certain players as one-offs rather than stacking that game. I could see stacking Misfits as the underdog as they have only lost one game so far this split and have looked very good. I would use HiRit, Razork, and Vetheo in a Misfits stack.
