Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs exceeded expectations as a rookie last season, catching 42 passes for 425 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games after being selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
He has fantasy football intrigue even after the departure of Aaron Rodgers, but he's been banged up this offseason and his status for Week 1 is up in the air.

Is Romeo Doubs Playing In Week 1 Against the Bears?
Doubs (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday and was listed on the team's first official injury report. Doubs has been out of practice all week and is beginning to trend toward the wrong side of questionable ahead of the Week 1 matchup with the Chicago Bears.
Second-year wideout Christian Watson (hamstring) was also absent from practice and could be in danger of missing Week 1 as well. This is a tough development for quarterback Jordan Love, who looks like he could be without his top two targets in his first game as the Packers' franchise signal-caller.
There will be more updates and news as we get closer to game time, but Doubs' availability is not looking promising as of Thursday morning.
Should I Start Romeo Doubs In Week 1?
If Dobbs does suit up for Week 1, he should be viewed as a low-end flex play in all formats until proven otherwise. While Love looked good during the preseason, there isn't much data and information to make a reasonable prediction on how he'll play in 2023. He struggled in his only NFL start in 2021 and has thrown just 83 passes in three seasons as a pro.
That said, if Doubs plays and Watson doesn't, Doubs becomes a more attractive flex play due to more overall target upside.
If both Doubs and Watson miss Week 1, rookie Jayden Reed is catapulted to at least a mid-level flex consideration.
