Dan's top hitter streamers and starts as fantasy baseball waiver wire adds for Week 7 of 2026 (May 11 - May 17). He analyzes streamers with favorable matchups, schedules.
It's a special Mother's Day edition of my weekly waiver wire bats, and a big shout-out to all the moms out there that keep the world (and baseball) going strong. MLB has a great Mother's Day tradition going with players honoring their moms, and I'd like to tell mine (if she ends up reading this) that I don't know where I'd be without her!
My weekly hitters, streamers, fantasy baseball waiver-wire pickups column will identify hitters with favorable matchups who can be considered for waiver-wire pickups or streamers ahead of Sunday night's waiver-wire runs in leagues with weekly transactions. Because of format changes to Yahoo leagues this year, players featured in this article this week are rostered in 30% or fewer leagues on Yahoo (yes, I'm increasing this number as the wire is already getting picked over pretty aggressively this season).

Week 7 Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers
I'll recommend only players who are rostered in 30 percent or fewer leagues, and all roster percentages are from Yahoo!
Addison Barger, 3B/OF - TOR (29%)
Last year's breakout is off the IL and was back in the lineup on Saturday for Toronto, hitting in the 2-hole. He hasn't done much this season, but it's been only nine games, and he was much too good last season to ignore, especially if this new lineup spot in front of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. sticks.
Carlos Cortes, OF - ATH (21%)
Brent Rooker is back in the lineup for the Athletics at DH, but could continue to find his way into the lineup in the outfield and could feast on some Cardinals and Giants' pitching this week at home, where the park factor for lefties simply doesn't get any better.
Ezequiel Duran, 1B/2B/3B/SS/OF - TEX (20%)
Duran finally cooled off with a 0-4 at the plate yesterday, but had a six-game hitting streak going with four runs and five RBI last week.

He's moved up to the second spot in the lineup and could provide some solid production in runs, average, and even steals (he has four on the season) as a super-utility man for your squad.
Spencer Steer, 1B/OF - CIN (16%)
I have the Reds circled this week as one of my top teams to target on the wire. They get a matchup with the Washington pitching staff at home to start the week in one of the better-hitting environments in baseball.
I have been endorsing Steer now for several weeks in a row, and while he's not blowing the doors off with his production at the plate, he's been slowly seeing his surface stats catch up to his batted ball metrics.
Nick Gonzales, 2B/3B/SS - PIT (14%)
Gonzales was back to his old self yesterday, collecting four hits at the plate and raising his average back up to .323 on the season. He hit a bit of a slump last week, but is still playing every day for the Bucs and has an ideal lineup spot, hitting fifth most days, and potentially higher vs. LHP.
Jung Hoo Lee, OF - SFG (13%)
The Giants are one of only four teams that play seven times this week, and Lee has worked his way back into the leadoff role for San Francisco as they look for any way to ignite their struggling offense. His offensive profile is fairly limited, but he still has a solid hit tool and could chip in some runs scored and batting average. He's one of only a few Giants doing anything at the plate at the moment.
JJ Bleday, OF - CIN (12%)
T.J. Friedl is certainly in play this week, too, but Bleday has been showing off his power this year with four home runs in just 12 games since entering the Reds lineup. He's only a few seasons removed from a 20-HR campaign and has been hitting in the coveted two-hole ahead of Elly De La Cruz.
Carson Benge, OF - NYM (12%)
His overall numbers are still lagging, but Benge has hit .275 over the last two weeks with six runs and seven RBI. The power is still developing, but his recent results suggest that maybe he's starting to turn the corner and be more consistent going forward. With six steals already this year, he's a threat on the basepaths, too.
Bryce Eldridge, 1B - SFG (12%)
The Giants' first baseman hit his first career home run yesterday into the bay in a losing effort and should be hitting in the middle of the lineup all week for San Francisco.

He's not someone they're going to bench after a slow start; he's one of the few bright spots for this entire franchise right now and is worth a look if you need a corner infielder.
Sam Antonacci, 2B/3B/OF - CWS (12%)
The White Sox have been a better offense (and a considerably better team overall) this season, with the rookie Antonacci making a pretty sizable impact lately. He's been a catalyst at the top of the lineup, scoring 9 runs over the last two weeks while hitting .316 and swiping two bags.

There's a lot to like here, and the 2B-eligibility is awesome since that position has been so top-heavy this season.
Chase Meidroth, 2B/3B/SS - CWS (11%)
Meidroth has given up his leadoff spot to righties, but still leads off against lefties usually for the Sox. Despite moving down in the order, he's still been very productive lately with nine runs scored and a .298 average over the last two weeks. He's pretty limited to those two categories on offense, but you could do far worse at the middle infield positions.
Ryan Waldschmidt, OF - ARI (10%)
The rookie had a pinch hit in his first MLB at-bat, but then followed it up by going 0-3 in his first start. The Snakes need offense, and Waldschmidt was hitting a solid .289 at Triple-A with six steals before coming up.
TJ Rumfield, 1B - COL (9%)
Rumfield is a bit of a boring option at first base, but has been plugging along with steady production this year and now has 21 RBI through the first 40 games. This Rockies offense isn't as bad as it's been in years past, and Rumfield is getting a lot of RBI opportunities, hitting in the middle of it as a result.
Nathaniel Lowe, 1B - CIN (9%)
Another Cincy player to consider! Bleday hasn't been the only guy on a homer binge; Lowe smacked six in the course of a 10-day period recently. He's cooled off a bit, but is still worth a look due to the solid matchup at home this week against Washington.
Brice Matthews, 2B/OF - HOU (7%)
Matthews is a high-risk, high-reward option this week as he has serious power in his profile but also a tough draw with Seattle to start the week. He's been really inconsistent, but has flashed a nice power/speed combo that you just don't see from too many players this far down on the wire.
Week 7 Deep League Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers
Some widely available hitters (under 5% rostered) could be worth a look this week due to hot starts at the plate or strong matchups.
- Miguel Andujar, 3B/OF - SDP (5%)
- Zack Gelof, 2B/OF - ATH (4%)
- Brady House, 3B - WAS (4%)
- Isaac Collins, OF - KC (2%)
- Ryan McMahon, 3B - NYY (2%)
- Alex Freeland, 2B/3B/SS - LAD(1%)
Good luck this week, and choose those streaming options wisely! As always, thanks for making RotoBaller your choice for fantasy baseball content all season long!
