Top Hitter Streamers and Starts - Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 15 (July 7 - July 13)

Ben Rice - Fantasy Baseball Prospects, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers

Dan's top hitter streamers and starts as fantasy baseball waiver wire adds for Week 15 of 2025 (July 7- July 13). He analyzes streamers with favorable matchups, schedules.

We are just one week away from the All-Star break! A lot of fantasy leagues combine the next two weeks into one, but for our purposes today, we will just be looking at the games leading up to the break, not any of the games that will take place the weekend after.

Our hitter streamers fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups column will identify hitters with favorable matchups who can be considered waiver wire streamers ahead of the Sunday night waiver wire runs for leagues with weekly transactions. Players who appear in this article will always be rostered in 40 percent or fewer leagues on Yahoo!

In this piece, every week, I'll look to find hitters playing in the most games and who have the most favorable matchups to help you plug those gaps and fill those holes in your roster. You can also check out the rest of our fantasy baseball streamer content here at RotoBaller. Let's see which hitters we should consider grabbing off the wire as we roll into Week 15 of the fantasy baseball season!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy baseball lineup tools and resources:

What Teams Offer the Most Streaming Value in Week 15?

Most MLB teams are playing six games this week (not counting the games after the ASB).

Teams playing seven games are ARI, BOS, CWS, CIN, CLE, LAA, MIA, SDP, TBR, and TEX.

Ballpark Upgrades:

  • CIN (all seven games at home)
  • ATH (All six games at home)

Week 15 Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers

I'll recommend only players who are 40 percent rostered or lower, and all roster percentages are from Yahoo!

Ben Rice, C/1B - NYY (37% rostered)

The big development this week was that Rice gained catcher eligibility on most sites. That certainly increases his value a bit. He hasn't been doing anything special at the plate lately, but continues to draw really good lineup spots when he's in the lineup, hitting anywhere from leadoff to cleanup.

Chandler Simpson, OF - TBR (33% rostered)

He might be a bit one-dimensional, but all Simpson has done is hit and swipe bases since being called up in late June. He's hitting .371 over the last two weeks with six runs scored and five steals. If you need runs, batting average, and steals, then there probably isn't a better waiver add available than Simpson.

Noelvi Marte, 3B - CIN (24% rostered)

Marte has played just two games since returning from an injury that has forced him to miss most of the season. He had shown some promise before getting hurt and is a very toolsy prospect who we have been waiting on to break out for a few seasons.

With Cincy playing seven games at home and his manager going on record that he's likely going to be in the lineup every day, Marte feels like a solid pickup this week with upside. He's going to get it going eventually.

Carlos Narvaez, C - BOS (21% rostered)

If you need offensive production from the catcher position, then consider Narvaez this week. The Boston backstop continues to hit cleanup for the Red Sox and has been putting up enough stats to put him into consideration. The Red Sox will get to beat up on Colorado pitchers to start the week, and with the Rockies rolling three left-handed starters in their rotation, we should see Narvaez in the lineup.

Evan Carter, OF - TEX (18% rostered)

Carter is trending up in a big way, and yet he can't find his way onto more rosters. He had a very productive June, but then missed three games due to going on the bereavement list. However, he's come back from that absence and made an impact again with three stolen bases in his first two games in July.

Carter is a potential post-hype breakout who can hit for average and power, while also stealing bases. He should have plenty of playing time with Wyatt Langford on the IL and the Rangers in need of bats. He'll get to face the Angels' pitching staff first this week, which should provide him with a few very good matchups, too.

Carter has been great on a per-game basis; he just has to stay healthy and in the lineup, and I predict he's a guy who will be 50% rostered or more in a matter of a few weeks. Grab him now!

Caleb Durbin, 2B/3B/SS - MIL (16% rostered)

The word is getting out about Durbin finally, so this might be your last chance to snag him before he's rostered in your league. The rookie infielder continues to rake and has turned his season around entirely with a fantastic month of June.

Durbin is hitting .436 over the last two weeks with nine runs scored and three steals. He's not providing much power in terms of home runs, but he's giving managers a little of everything else. He's going to be a very valuable fantasy asset in the second half. I highly recommend snagging him where you can now.

Tyler Freeman, SS/OF - COL (16% rostered)

It wouldn't be a hitter streamer article if we didn't feature at least one Colorado hitter, right? Freeman makes the list again this week as he continues to hit and steal bases for his new team.

Freeman is now hitting .338 on the season and appears to have locked down the leadoff spot for Colorado with his consistent production. He's inside the top 75 over the last two weeks with his elite production in batting average (.366), runs scored (5), and steals (5).

Ramon Laureano, OF - BAL (15% rostered)

Laureano was supposed to be a platoon bat and fourth outfielder for the Orioles this season, but their season has taken such a hard turn for the worse that he has ended up being an everyday player and their 5-hole hitter.

That's not taking a shot at Laureano; he's shown that he can still play at a high level. It's just a sign of how this year is going for Baltimore. Anyway, Laureano has been very good at the plate lately, hitting .318 over the last two weeks while scoring a whopping 13 runs. He's up to 10 home runs, too, so he adds a bit of power, too.

Colt Keith, 1B/2B/3B - DET (14% rostered)

Keith has a very valuable role right now as the leadoff man for Detroit against RHP. That offense continues to crank, putting Keith in a great spot to produce runs. We'd still like to see more contact, but Keith does have a six-game hitting streak and enough power for the occasional home run. He added third-base eligibility, which makes him a true utility player now with eligibility at three infield positions.

Jake Meyers, OF - HOU (14% rostered)

Meyers has been an on-base machine and is scoring runs in bunches. He has scored 12 runs just in the last two weeks while hitting .302. His steals have slowed down a bit, but he still has 14 on the season. As long as he can hold down this spot in the batting order (hitting second), he should continue to be a solid producer in batting average, runs, and steals.

Week 15 Deeper League Fantasy Baseball Hitter Streamers to Consider

Some widely available hitters (under 10 percent rostered) could be worth a look this week.

Good luck this week, and choose those streaming options wisely! Thanks for making RotoBaller your one-stop shop for all things fantasy baseball!
