Sunday Fantasy Football Lineup Decisions

Just like that, the fantasy football regular season is almost over, and the fantasy playoffs begin next week. That means this is the last chance that managers will get to punch their ticket to the postseason.

With ultimate bragging rights, as well as a good chunk of cash winnings, on the line, managers must ensure they are giving their team the best chance to pick up a victory this week. If you’re not sure who you should start, we’ve got you covered with several players who could carry your team into the postseason, as well as a few who could torpedo your championship dreams. So, let’s not waste any more time and get things rolling.

Make sure you’re following RotoBaller on X and download the RotoBaller app for all your fantasy football needs. Here are our start ‘em and sit ‘em picks for Week 14.

QB Starts - Week 14 Fantasy Football

Jordan Love - QB, Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears

Love is coming off a four-touchdown effort against the Detroit Lions in Week 13.

It was a much-needed performance for fantasy managers as Love had only thrown two touchdowns in his previous four games. Now, Green Bay takes on a Chicago Bears team that ranks 23rd in FTN Fantasy’s defensive passing DVOA and has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, per Fantasy Football Today.

Gamers should consider Love a back-end QB1 for Week 14.

Sam Darnold - QB, Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons

Darnold did not play well against his former team last weekend. He only completed 14-of-26 passes for 128 yards against the Minnesota Vikings.

Luckily, he gets a much more favorable matchup this week as the Falcons have allowed the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks over the last three weeks. Atlanta’s defense was playing well to start the season, but the team is starting to check out down the home stretch as it's become clear this is a lost season.

That’s good news for Darnold, and this presents a perfect bounce-back opportunity for the veteran quarterback. He is a fine streaming option in single-quarterback leagues and a strong QB2 play in superflex formats.

Tyler Shough - QB, New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Shough has two top-12 finishes in his last three starts. He now takes on a Buccaneers team that's allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks as well as the fourth-most passing yards per game.

Todd Bowles' defenses are known for giving young quarterbacks a hard time. It’s for this reason that Shough should not be considered a viable streamer in single-quarterback leagues. However, he is an acceptable QB2 play in superflex and two-quarterback formats and should be started as such.

QB Sits - Week 14 Fantasy Football

Kirk Cousins - QB, Atlanta Falcons vs. Seattle Seahawks

Cousins has played some nice football during his last two starts, filling in for an injured Michael Penix Jr. This could be a spot where he struggles, though, as Seattle has one of the best defenses in the league.

Seattle ranks second in defensive passing DVOA and has intercepted opposing quarterbacks 13 times, which is tied for the second most in the league. We will likely see the Seahawks sell out to stop Bijan Robinson and the Falcons’ running game and force Cousins to beat them through the air.

With Drake London possibly out of action and Cousins playing behind a mediocre offensive line, this seems like the right spot to fade the 37-year-old veteran. Cousins is not a recommended streamer in single-quarterback leagues and should also be left on benches in superflex formats.

Caleb Williams - QB, Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers

The Bears are 9-3 and currently hold the No. 1 seed in the NFC. The team has played well despite getting little help from quarterback Caleb Williams, who has had some nice games but is only completing 58% of his passes.

Williams has thrown multiple touchdown passes just four times this year, and this weekend doesn’t look like a spot where he’ll get his fifth. The Packers defense has been very good in 2025 and has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks.

Chicago likely will lean on its strong rushing attack and running backs D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai to score a victory here. So, that could also limit Williams' fantasy ceiling. Consider other options for a streamer.

Aaron Rodgers - QB, Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens

Rodgers' 2025 season got off to a nice start, but unfortunately, he’s starting to resemble the late Sir Roger Moore in “A View to a Kill” -- old, outdated, and looking like he has no place alongside his younger co-workers.

Rodgers has thrown less than 200 yards in his last three starts, and he’s now nursing a broken wrist. Baltimore’s defense has not been good, but it doesn’t look like the current version of Rodgers is capable of taking advantage of a plus matchup. Leave him on the bench in all formats.

RB Starts - Week 14 Fantasy Football

Chase Brown - RB, Cincinnati Bengals at Buffalo Bills

Brown has turned his season around following a rough start. He’s now averaging a respectable 4.4 yards per carry, and he’s currently the PPR RB16 on the year.

Brown now gets a dream matchup against a Buffalo Bills run defense that remains one of the worst in the NFL. The Bills allow 141.3 rushing yards per game, which is the third most in the league.

We might see the Bengals take a bit off Joe Burrow’s plate here and turn to their ground game to pick up a victory. It might be a smart move on their end since this will only be Burrow’s second start since missing nine games with a turf toe injury.

Even if Cincinnati doesn’t go with a run-heavy game plan, Brown could still post a ceiling game here. This game has the highest projected total on the Sunday slate, so there should be plenty of opportunities for Brown to accrue fantasy points.

Start him with confidence, and hopefully, he carries your team to a playoff berth.

Blake Corum - RB, Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals

Corum continued his timeshare with starter Kyren Williams last week. He ran for a season-high 81 yards and also scored a rushing touchdown.

The Rams draw a plus matchup this week as they take on a Cardinals team that's allowed the ninth-most PPR points to opposing running backs as well as the seventh-most rushing touchdowns to the position this year.

Los Angeles is looking to bounce back after dropping last week’s game against the Carolina Panthers. The Rams are listed as 8.5-point favorites this weekend, which means they should be playing with a lead for the majority of this game. If that’s the case, then there should be plenty of opportunities for Corum to be a viable flex play. Start him as such.

Kenneth Walker III - RB, Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons

Walker remains in a frustrating split with Zach Charbonnet. With the latter seemingly still having a firm grip on goal-line duties, Walker has effectively emerged as a TRAP back for fantasy purposes.

That’s certainly not ideal. Despite these concerns, this weekend projects as a good opportunity to start Walker. The Falcons allow over 131 rushing yards per game and have also allowed the sixth-most explosive rushing yards over the last five weeks, per Fantasy Points Data Suite.

This could be a spot where we could see Walker break off a long touchdown run. If that happens, then he will absolutely have been worth starting. Roll with him for one more week, and hopefully, he pops for one of his more productive games of the year.

RB Sits - Week 14 Fantasy Football

Zonovan Knight - RB, Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams

With Trey Benson sidelined again, fantasy managers will have another opportunity to start Knight for at least one more week. However, that doesn’t mean they should rush to throw him into starting lineups.

Even though the team had a poor effort against the Carolina Panthers last week, the Rams' run defense remains one of the best in football. Los Angeles ranks fourth in defensive rushing DVOA and has allowed the fourth-fewest PPR points per game to the position.

With Arizona expected to be playing from behind for the majority of this game, that also makes Knight an easy sit. Only play him as a desperation RB2 or flex.

Tony Pollard - RB, Tennessee Titans at Cleveland Browns

Pollard ran for 60 yards on 10 carries last weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was one of his better games of the year, but gamers should not expect a repeat performance this Sunday.

Cleveland’s defensive front is arguably the best in the NFL, and the team ranks second in PFF’s rushing defense grade. The Browns have also allowed the seventh-fewest PPR points per game to opposing running backs.

Tennessee’s offense will likely struggle to move the football against the Browns defense, and that will mean little room on the ground for Pollard and the Titans offense. Leave him on the bench in all formats and consider other options.

Woody Marks - RB, Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs defense has taken a step backward this year, but they’ve still been very good against opposing running backs. Kansas City ranks 10th in defensive rushing DVOA and has allowed the sixth-fewest PPR points per game to opposing running backs.

Marks has received at least 17 touches in his last three games, but his best finish over that span is an RB32 effort in Week 12. Volume is not translating to fantasy production, plus he still has to fend off veteran Nick Chubb for goal-line duties.

This should be a competitive game, and it projects as another where Marks should see plenty of volume. However, he hasn’t been very efficient on a per-touch basis, and that makes it difficult to trust him in a tough matchup.

If gamers have enough depth at the position, they should give strong consideration to leaving Marks on the bench in favor of other options.

WR Starts - Week 14 Fantasy Football

Zay Flowers - WR, Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Flowers has finished outside the top-24 receivers in PPR leagues in six of his last eight games. In fact, he has not finished as a WR1 since the opening week of the season.

The Steelers defense could be what’s needed to break Flowers out of his funk. Pittsburgh has allowed the third-most PPR points to wide receivers this year and allows an average of 78.3 receiving yards per game to opposing WR1s.

It’s been a disappointing year for Baltimore’s WR1, and Flowers did not help matters by putting up a dud in a plus matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals last week. However, the matchup here is too good to ignore, and it’s worth rolling the dice on Flowers as a WR3 or flex play.

Troy Franklin - WR, Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders are a middle-of-the-pack team in several defensive passing metrics. However, wide receivers have experienced success against their defense this year. Las Vegas has allowed the eighth-most PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers and has allowed the fifth-most touchdown passes to the position.

This is a good spot for gamers to throw Franklin into their lineups as quarterback Bo Nix could post his second consecutive 300-yard game. Consider Franklin a fine WR3 or flex.

Brian Thomas Jr. - Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts

Thomas has been arguably the biggest bust in fantasy football this year. It turns out he is not as complete a wide receiver as many analysts thought, and his aversion to running routes across the middle of the field has really hurt his production in Liam Coen’s offense.

That aside, this could be a spot where Thomas pops for a decent game. The Colts rank 29th in PFF’s pass coverage grade and allow the eighth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers.

Thomas has been more of a boom/bust option this year, having had far more disappointing efforts than good ones. However, this might just be the time he posts a big game. He may not be the elite wide receiver many thought, but he’s still capable of producing a week-winning performance.

Start Thomas as a flex play this week.

WR Sits - Week 14 Fantasy Football

Darnell Mooney - WR, Atlanta Falcons vs. Seattle Seahawks

Drake London will not suit up for this weekend’s game. That will leave Mooney functioning as Atlanta’s WR1. While that might sound like a good thing for his fantasy value, the reality is that it could be problematic given Atlanta’s Week 14 opponent.

The Seahawks rank first in DVOA against opposing WR1s and allow an average of just 32.7 receiving yards per game to the position. Seattle also ranks fourth in PFF’s pass coverage grade.

This is a tough spot for an Atlanta offense that will be missing its top pass-catcher. That will only make it that much easier for Seattle to completely shut down Kirk Cousins and this passing offense. Leave Mooney on your bench, and consider other options for a WR3.

DeVonta Smith - WR, Philadelphia Eagles at Los Angeles Chargers

The Philadelphia passing game continues to struggle as we get deeper into the season. Jalen Hurts is not playing well, and offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo seems to be in over his head with play-calling duties.

Those two factors are working against Smith right off the bat here. Throw in a Chargers defense that's allowed the fewest PPR points to wide receivers and ranks fifth in DVOA against opposing WR2s, and Smith becomes a clear fade in Week 14.

Xavier Worthy - WR, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Houston Texans

Worthy has been another player who’s let fantasy gamers down this season. This week probably is not the time Worthy gets going, as the Texans defense is one of the best in the league. Houston ranks first in defensive passing DVOA and has allowed the third-fewest PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers.

Worthy has not proved to be a good enough separator against man and press coverage, and it has greatly impacted his fantasy football ceiling. Combine that with a bad matchup, as well as a Chiefs offensive line dealing with several injuries, and it becomes clear that Worthy is better off left on the bench this week.

TE Starts - Week 14 Fantasy Football

Dalton Kincaid - TE, Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Kincaid is tracking to return this week after missing the last few games with a hamstring injury. It could not come at a better time for his fantasy managers as Kincaid draws an A+ matchup this weekend.

The Cincinnati Bengals defense has been awful against tight ends and has allowed the most receiving touchdowns to the position this year. This is a great spot for gamers to immediately throw Kincaid into their lineups.

Expect quarterback Josh Allen to look Kincaid’s way early and often in this game. Consider Kincaid the top streaming option at the position this week, and don’t be shocked if he posts his best game of the season here.

Mason Taylor - TE, New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins defense has been playing better lately, but the team still struggles against tight ends. Miami ranks 20th in DVOA against tight ends and has allowed the third-most PPR points per game to the position.

Gamers streaming tight ends or in need of a bye-week filler should view Taylor as a fine starter this week.

Mark Andrews - TE, Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Baltimore awarded Andrews with a three-year, $39.2 million contract extension earlier this week. It was a curious move considering Andrews' production has fallen off over the last two years, and when you also consider the Ravens don’t involve him as much on offense as they used to.

All that aside, this is shaping up as a good week to roll him out as a streamer. Pittsburgh has allowed the sixth-most PPR points to tight ends so far in 2025. Consider Andrews a touchdown-dependent, boom-or-bust TE1 for this week.

TE Sits - Week 14 Fantasy Football

Evan Engram - TE, Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders

Engram is coming off his best game of the season in Week 13 against the Washington Commanders. However, it’s worth noting that the Commanders defense has been vulnerable to opposing tight ends throughout the season.

That’s not the case for Denver’s Week 14 opponent, as the Las Vegas Raiders have been very good at limiting tight end production. Las Vegas has allowed the third-fewest PPR points to tight ends this year.

Gamers probably missed out on their best chance to start Engram last week and should not chase that production this weekend. That means it's best to leave him on the bench.

Oronde Gadsden II - TE, Los Angeles Chargers vs. Philadelphia Eagles

Gadsden’s production has declined over his last three games, and he has not posted a TE1 finish since Week 9. This doesn’t feel like the spot Gadsden will turn things around, as Philadelphia ranks first in DVOA to tight ends and has allowed the fourth-fewest PPR points to the position.

Leave Gadsden on your bench in favor of other options with better matchups.

Dalton Schultz - TE, Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs

Schultz has been on a tear recently and has finished as a TE1 in five of his last seven games. This could be a game where he struggles, though, as the Chiefs have allowed the seventh-fewest PPR points per game to tight ends in 2025.

With both teams fighting for their playoff lives, expect this game to be a low-scoring, defensive affair. That would mean Schultz carries little upside for fantasy football purposes, and gamers should look elsewhere for a tight end this week.
