DraftKings Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (4/12/18): MLB DFS Lineups

DraftKings features two classic style slates tonight, the main slate at 7:05 pm and a late slate starting at 8:10 pm. This gives up plenty of different lineups to create.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/12/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like FanDuel, and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @TroyKlauder.

DraftKings Starting Pitchers

Jose Berrios - P, vs CWS ($11,000)

Berrios has 13 strikeouts and just one walk in his 13 1/3 innings pitched this season, making the 23-year-old the top starting pitching option on Thursday. On a day where starting pitching looks particularly ugly, I have no problem spending big on starters and trying to find value bats. Berrios should have no problems with the White Sox lineup, and the Twins offense gives him a good shot at a win.

Chris Stratton - P, at SD ($6,700)

The Padres have struck out 26.7% of the time against right-handed pitching this season, which is third-most in all of baseball. They had just a .299 wOBA versus righties last year and play in one of the most pitcher friendly parks in all of baseball, Petco Park. While Chris Stratton is an unspectacular pitcher, he can give you some solid innings for a low price on Thursday.

DraftKings Infielders

Chris Iannetta - C, at WAS ($3,400)

It's not often that a Rockies hitter is worth playing on the road, but Iannetta presents a special case. Iannetta crushes lefties, as he posted a 148 wRC+ against southpaws in 2017, and is facing lefty Gio Gonzalez. Iannetta has a strong .906 OPS so far this season and just took a day off on Wednesday, so there's a very good chance that he stays in the lineup for Thursday's matchup.

Albert Pujols - 1B, at KC ($3,700)

While Pujols isn't an outstanding hitter, he still has a ton of value in DFS as the Angels' cleanup hitter - batting behind Mike Trout and Justin Upton gives him a ton of RBI chances. Opposing pitcher Ian Kennedy had a 1.99 HR/9 in 2017, so Pujols is in a nice spot for a home run.

Brian Dozier - 2B, vs CWS ($4,400)

Dozier is mashing the ball this season, posting a 1.006 OPS with four homers and a steal. He's incredibly valuable because of his power/speed combo, as well as his position as the leadoff man for the Twins. He will get plenty of plate appearances against White Sox starter Lucas Giolito, who has a 6.17 ERA through his first two starts.

Miguel Andujar - 3B, at BOS ($2,800)

Andujar is off to a very poor start this season, but he's still batting sixth in the Yankees lineup against righties, showing that the club still has confidence in him. The Yankees have one of the most stacked linueps in the league and get to play in Fenway on Thursday, meaning that Andujar will have lots of run and RBI opportunities. He's coming in at punt-level prices, so I recommend Andujar in GPP contests where his high upside could pay off.

Trea Turner - SS, vs COL ($4,800)

The options at shortstop look pretty rough on Thursday outside of the top-tier plays like Turner. Turner already has five steals on the season and is batting second in the Nationals order. His style of hitting plays well against Chad Bettis, who had just a 15.0% K-rate last year - Turner will put the ball in play and let his speed do the rest.

DraftKings Outfielders

Andrew Benintendi - OF, vs NYY ($3,800)

Benintendi represents a stellar buy-low opportunity on Thursday. He's off to a cold start this year, but don't forget that he's coming off of a 20/20 season where he batted .271. He's still batting second in the Red Sox order and is always worth considering when he's at home in one of baseball's best offensive environments.

Andrew McCutchen - OF, at SD ($4,300)

McCutchen is in a great spot batting third against Padres starter Bryan Mitchell. Mitchell has a 4.22 ERA this season with only one strikeout and nine walks in 10 2/3 innings. That's so bad that it's almost impressive. McCutchen had a .279/.363/.486 line last season and is worth his price tag.

Jorge Soler - OF, vs LAA ($3,000)

Soler has a solid 109 wRC+ this season against righties, with as many walks as he has strikeouts. He's a cheap power flier against Nick Tropeano, who had a 5.27 FIP last season.
