David Njoku, Mike Gesicki, Jake Ferguson: Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em Picks for Fantasy Football Week 14

David Njoku - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire

Should I start David Njoku, Mike Gesicki, or Jake Ferguson for Week 14? Fantasy football start em, sit em picks for Week 14 of the 2024 NFL season.

As we enter Week 14, the final week of the fantasy football regular season in most leagues, it's do-or-die time for those difficult start/sit decisions. With six teams on a bye, the tight-end landscape is especially thin, making those calls even tougher. If you're aiming to secure a playoff spot or solidify your position, this week's decisions are everything.

This time, we're honing in on three tight ends who are each at a different point in their career. They've all had their moments, but consistency hasn't exactly been their strong suit. With tight-end production being as unpredictable as ever this season, these players could swing your matchup in either direction.

So, should you put your faith in David Njoku, Mike Gesicki, or Jake Ferguson ahead of Week 14? Let's break it down and figure out which of these options might just help you make that all-out playoff push.

Should I Start David Njoku for Fantasy Football?

In Week 13 against the Denver Broncos on MNF, Njoku had a total of 17 targets to finish with nine receptions for 52 yards and two touchdowns.

Ever since the Browns made the switch to quarterback Jameis Winston under center, Njoku has thrived for fantasy. He's seen a total of 59 targets over these last six starts and has 49 receptions for 397 yards and four touchdowns. He remains a top-6 tight end for fantasy the rest of the way, despite a tougher matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers defense in Week 14.

Should I Start Mike Gesicki for Fantasy Football?

Gesicki had a mini-boom for fantasy this season while wide receiver Tee Higgins was sidelined, but now that Higgins is back, Gesicki has been rendered obsolete.

On the season, Gesicki has 39 receptions for 436 yards and two touchdowns. However, with Higgins back in the lineup, it's too difficult to trust Gesicki outside of being a dart throw in DFS formats.

Should I Start Jake Ferguson for Fantasy Football?

It was a solid start to the season for Ferguson, but after an injury to quarterback Dak Prescott, his fantasy fortunes took a huge hit to his value.

Ferguson was concussed in the team's Week 11 contest against the Houston Texans and missed the last two games, but he is expected to play in Week 14.

The Cowboys have a solid matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals defense, but with Cooper Rush under center, how much faith can you have?

Njoku is the best pick of the three for Week 14 at tight end.
