DraftKings College Basketball DFS Lineup Picks for 1/26/22 - CBB Daily Fantasy Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 1/26/22. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

We have another big slate with 12 games tonight. We begin an hour earlier tonight with Florida tipping in Knoxville at 6pm Eastern. A half hour later Michigan hosts Northwestern, Butler hosts Creighton, and Xavier hosts Providence.

We get to our normal start time with more SEC action with Arkansas heading to Oxford and South Carolina hosting Vanderbilt. An hour after that, the Big 12(10) takes over with Iowa State in Stillwater and Oklahoma heading to West Virginia. Wichita State also hosts UCF in this window. We close it out with Penn State in Champaign, Marquette at Seton Hall, and VCU heading to Davidson. This is a really good one tonight!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/26/22 starting at 6 pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

JD Notae, Arkansas ($8,100)

Tough matchups in conference play are nothing unusual. Some players are good enough to use no matter the matchup. That seems to be the case with Notae. His shot volume and peripheral numbers are about as good as you'll find in the college game. Notae has at least 25 DraftKings points in every game this season. That's the kind of floor I want when paying up.

Darryl Morsell, Marquette ($7,400)

The Maryland transfer had some rough games early in the season and again when the Golden Eagles restarted, but he has at least 24 DraftKings points in four straight games. All of those are against the upper half of the Big East. Morsell had his best game of the season against The Hall 11 days ago, putting up 26 points and five rebounds. Considering Seton Hall is expected to be without Bryce Aiken again, this is looking to be a great situation for Morsell once again.

Adrian Baldwin, Virginia Commonwealth ($6,400)

Baldwin put up 35.25 DraftKings points against Davidson less than a week ago and followed that up with 36.75 against St. Joseph's over the weekend. He's feeling it right now. Baldwin has a staggering 12 steals in the past two games to go with 13 assists and eight rebounds. It doesn't matter that he's not scoring a ton of points. Those peripheral stats make him very valuable.

Myles Cale, Seton Hall ($5,300)

Kadary Richmond has been handling the point with Bryce Aiken out, but he's not the scorer Aiken is. That has trickled down to Cale. He has played 68 minutes in the two games with Aiken out and scored 37 real points (64.75 DraftKings points). Cale is a good shooter and good rebounder, even from the perimeter. If Aiken is out again as expected, Cale has the higher ceiling than Richmond and he's almost $1,000 cheaper.

Chuck Harris, Butler ($4,700)

Harris returned to the starting lineup last week and provided some much-needed scoring against Providence and UConn. Creighton is a team that will pace you up as well and they shoot a lot of threes. Butler is going to need Harris to do the same to keep up with the Blue Jays. I usually stay away from Harris in games that are projected to play slow, but this one shouldn't. He's a good value play here.

Also consider: Scotty Pippen Jr., Vanderbilt ($8,600); Santiago Vescovi, Tennessee ($7,900); Izaiah Brockington, Iowa State ($7,400); Dexter Dennis, Wichita State ($6,800); Kadary Richmond, Seton Hall ($6,200); Stanley Umude, Arkansas ($5,600); Au'Diese Toney, Arkansas ($4,900)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Justin Lewis, Marquette ($8,800)

Lewis has scored at least 35 DraftKings points – against Xavier, Villanova, and Seton Hall — in his last three games. Those are as good of competition as you'll find in the Big East right now. The Eagles needed everything Lewis could give to escape Seton Hall in Milwaukee 11 days ago. They're going to need another big game from Lewis here and I'll be surprised if he doesn't provide it.

Jaylin Williams, Arkansas ($8,300)

Yes, I have a lot of Arkansas players on here. I will also have at least two in every lineup. This is a really good matchup for the entire team. Recency bias is going to result in high ownership on Williams, but that doesn't mean we should avoid him. The man is a walking double-double with a handful of blocks mixed in. He's not going to record six steals again anytime soon, but the five consecutive games of more than 32 DraftKings points speak for themselves.

Cheikh Mbacke Diong, Central Florida ($5,800)

Diong has become more of a scoring threat for the Knights since the restart. That's bad news for the rest of the AAC. Diong has been mostly regarded as a rim protector and rebounder, but he racked up a career-high 16 points in just 25 minutes against Tulane. He's not the most consistent guy on the team, but Wichita State doesn't have the size to deal with the 6'11" Diong. This could be another good game for him.

Justin Minaya, Providence ($5,400)

Xavier is a good team, but Minaya has been more aggressive on the offensive end since the restart. He is only averaging a shade over six points per game on the season, but in the six games since the restart, he is averaging just over eight. That's including a scoreless disaster against St John's in the first game back. Minaya has always been a glass cleaner and a good passer. Add in the newfound scoring to his defensive chops and 38+ minutes per game and we have a really nice value play.

Ed Croswell, Providence ($3,900)

If you have a little extra cash, you can try running Sam Mennenga since he's a starter, but you might not get a lot out of him against VCU. Meanwhile, Croswell hasn't missed a shot from the field since January 8. He has hit all 12 shots from the floor in the last two games (while missing two free throws....go figure). Croswell is a high-energy defender when he's on the court. This kind of scoring is a bonus and could stop at any time, but he might be worth a dart if you want to ride the hot hand.

Also consider: Hunter Dickinson, Michigan ($8,900); Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($8,500); Vince Williams, Virginia Commonwealth ($7,700); Race Thompson, Indiana ($6,900); Ike Obiagu, Seton Hall ($5,900); Moussa Diabate, Michigan ($5,600); Arthur Kaluma, Creighton ($4,700)
