Quincy's NFL QB power rankings for Week 6 of the 2025 season. He ranks all 32 starting NFL quarterbacks before Week 5, from Josh Allen to Cameron Ward.

The NFL quarterback landscape continues to evolve this season. This week saw a quarterback trade. Joe Flacco is headed from the Browns to the Bengals to help stabilize Cincinnati’s tailspin. Whether that move will pan out remains to be seen, but teams get desperate this time of year.

On the flip side, the young quarterbacks around the league are playing solid ball. Rookies and second-year players alike are demonstrating a lot of promise. There are a few strugglers here and there, most notably Titans rookie Cameron Ward, but overall, the future of the league is growing up right in front of our eyes.

With everything seemingly changing every week, it is time to see where everyone stands as we approach the completion of a third of the season. Let’s dive in and check out the Week 6 quarterback power rankings.

No. 32: Cameron Ward - Tennessee Titans

Cameron Ward led the Titans to their first win of the season in Week 5. Ward looked about the same as he has all season long, but finally winning a game and leading a game-winning drive should give the youngster some confidence moving forward.

No. 31: Justin Fields - New York Jets

Justin Fields’ passing output has been well ahead of his career averages because the Jets find themselves passing so much in garbage time. The Jets do not have a lot of reason to turn away from Fields, but he does not seem likely to play himself into a permanent role with the team.

No. 30: Dillon Gabriel - Cleveland Browns

Dillon Gabriel performed admirably in Week 5 after taking over the starting position. The question is whether Gabriel will hold this spot down for the rest of the year. The Browns do not project to win many games, and fellow rookie Shedeur Sanders is sitting right behind Gabriel.

No. 29: Jaxson Dart - New York Giants

Jaxson Dart started hot in Week 4, but he stumbled a bit in Week 5. He turned the ball over three times. However, Dart still demonstrated a lot of promise with his athleticism. The Giants may have found their future quarterback.

No. 28: Spencer Rattler - New Orleans Saints

Spencer Rattler continues to prove that he has a place in the NFL. He led the Saints to their first win in Week 5, and he has played solid football all season. He may not be the team’s long-term answer, but he will likely be in the league for a while.

No one is paying attention, but Spencer Rattler deserves to be a starting quarterback in this league.

No. 27: Joe Flacco - Cincinnati Bengals

Flacco is stepping into the Bengals’ starting quarterback role. Former starter Jake Browning has played terrible football over the last couple of weeks. Frankly, Flacco was not playing great prior to his benching in Cleveland, but he represents hope for a Cincinnati team that is clinging to whatever it can right now.

No. 26: Geno Smith - Las Vegas Raiders

Geno Smith is making the Seahawks look like geniuses for moving on from him. The Raiders’ offense is completely inept, and Smith is playing the worst he has played since his pre-Seattle days.

No. 25: Cooper Rush/Tyler Huntley - Baltimore Ravens

It does not seem likely that we will see Lamar Jackson for a couple more weeks. As such, the Ravens will need to choose between Cooper Rush and Tyler Huntley for at least Week 6. Rush just played terribly in Week 5, and Huntley is fresh off the practice squad.

No. 24: Bryce Young - Carolina Panthers

Bryce Young has been about as inconsistent as anyone this season. He began Week 5 against the Dolphins with a couple of early turnovers. However, he finished the game by leading the Panthers to an impressive victory. Every week is different with this kid.

No. 23: Carson Wentz - Minnesota Vikings

Carson Wentz continues to hold down the fort for the Vikings. Minnesota is entering its bye week within striking distance of the Lions in the NFC North. Wentz’s days as the starter are numbered, but at least he did not crash and burn over the last few weeks.

No. 22: Michael Penix Jr. - Atlanta Falcons

Michael Penix Jr. is coming out of an early bye week. Early bye weeks can be good for young quarterbacks such as Penix. It may provide him with the reset and the coaching that he needs to find consistency and ascend in this offense. The Falcons will need Penix to play at a high level if they expect to keep up with the Buccaneers in this division.

No. 21: Caleb Williams - Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams is coming out of his bye week refreshed and ready to go. He has been on the short list of promising young quarterbacks in 2025. While still wildly inconsistent, Williams is definitely better than he was last season.

No. 20: Kyler Murray - Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray is the definition of good-but-not-great. The Cardinals’ ceiling with Murray at the helm is not what many pundits once thought it was. This team has now dropped three straight games, and Murray has yet to get the offense going at an elite level.

No. 19: Tua Tagovailoa - Miami Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa has not found his old magic this season. With a terrible offensive line and no Tyreek Hill, the road forward will be tough for Tagovailoa. Miami’s offense was never able to close out Carolina in Week 5 despite jumping out to a huge early lead. Things look bleak in Miami right now.

No. 18: Mac Jones - San Francisco 49ers

As of now, Mac Jones seems like a good bet to start for the 49ers once again in Week 6. Jones played great in Week 5 against an excellent Rams defense. He is living proof that Kyle Shanahan can make any quarterback look good in this offense.

No. 17: C.J. Stroud - Houston Texans

C.J. Stroud put together a vintage game in Week 5. He tossed four touchdown passes and did whatever he wanted against a flailing Ravens defense. This was exactly the performance Stroud needed as the Texans head into their bye week.

No. 16: Aaron Rodgers - Pittsburgh Steelers

Aaron Rodgers is coming out of his bye week with a clear path to lead the Steelers to an AFC North title in 2025. The Ravens are flailing, the Browns are inept, and the Bengals have nothing going for them. Rodgers has done well to stabilize Pittsburgh’s quarterback situation. He should continue his solid season in the coming weeks.

No. 15: Trevor Lawrence - Jacksonville Jaguars

Trevor Lawrence has not put up gaudy stats in 2025, but he is doing what is necessary for the Jaguars to win. Lawrence played a great game in Week 5 against the Chiefs. He did not shy away from the challenge the reigning AFC champs present. Perhaps Lawrence is turning a corner in his career.

No. 14: Drake Maye - New England Patriots

Drake Maye looks like a bona fide stud. He played a fantastic game in Week 5 to lead the Patriots to victory over the Bills. New England has a legitimate chance to compete for the playoffs behind the excellent play of Maye this season.

No. 13: Bo Nix - Denver Broncos

Bo Nix seems to be back in the saddle after an inauspicious start to the year. He has the Broncos in a position to compete for the AFC West title, and he is playing very well. Given the great end to Nix’s rookie year, it seemed like only a matter of time before he got back on track.

No. 12: Daniel Jones - Indianapolis Colts

Daniel Jones is playing like a top quarterback in the NFL. The Colts’ offense has been so great this year that Jones’s services are often not needed throughout the second half. The schedule is also not going to get crazy difficult for this team either. As such, Jones should continue to shine.

No. 11: Sam Darnold - Seattle Seahawks

Sam Darnold was nearly flawless in Week 5 until a late errant throw was intercepted, which sunk the Seahawks’ chances to beat the Buccaneers. Darnold went toe-to-toe with Baker Mayfield all game long. He is looking like a great addition for Seattle.

No. 10: Jordan Love - Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love is coming out of his Week 5 bye to a great matchup with a terrible Bengals defense. Love should have an absolute MVP-caliber day in this matchup.

No. 9: Justin Herbert - Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert came into the season playing like an MVP candidate. Unfortunately, the offensive line is banged up, and so are the running backs. Herbert is still as talented as any quarterback in the league. However, his current power ranking is reflective of a lack of help around him.

No. 8: Matthew Stafford - Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford just played another great game in Week 5 against the 49ers. Unfortunately, the Rams lost the game. Stafford is currently leading the NFL in passing yards. He is playing fantastic football. As long as he is playing like this, the Rams will be legitimate Super Bowl contenders.

No. 7: Jayden Daniels - Washington Commanders

Jayden Daniels is back from his injury, and he is as good as ever. The Commanders were in lockstep with the Chargers for most of Week 5 until Daniels and the offense took over in the fourth quarter. With a healthy Daniels, this team can clearly go places.

No. 6: Dak Prescott - Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott is playing like one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Even without his top wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb, Prescott continues to shine. The Cowboys are playing surprisingly well this season, largely due to the leadership and play of Prescott.

No. 5: Jalen Hurts - Philadelphia Eagles

Jalen Hurts and the Eagles’ offense have lacked explosiveness in 2025. That caught up with them in Week 5 against the Broncos. Hurts is still one of the better quarterbacks in the league, but he and the rest of the offense need to figure themselves out before they start to pile up close losses. Luckily, their 4-0 start gives them a great buffer.

No. 4: Baker Mayfield - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Baker Mayfield is playing like he is the NFL MVP. He just lit up a very talented Seahawks defense in Seattle. He continues to lead the Buccaneers on go-ahead and game-winning drives in the waning moments of games. With Mayfield, this team is never out of a game.

No. 3: Patrick Mahomes - Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes is playing great football for the Chiefs, but the offense as a whole does not have enough firepower. The team dropped a tough game to the Jaguars in Week 5. Mahomes needs to put on his cape before the season gets away from Kansas City.

No. 2: Jared Goff - Detroit Lions

Jared Goff is the perfect quarterback for the Lions. When they need him to go off, he delivers. When they need him to hand the ball off, he delivers. He continues to play his role perfectly in 2025. The Lions are very far removed from their offensive dud in Week 1. Goff is ready to lead this team to the promised land.

No. 1: Josh Allen - Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen continues to play like the best quarterback in the league, but he faltered in Week 5 against the Patriots. Allen should bounce back just fine in Week 6 against the Falcons. This is the reigning MVP we are talking about.
