Aaron Nola Lasts Six Innings In Win Versus Cubs
Aaron Nola allowed four runs in six innings pitched while earning his sixth win of the season Monday at Chicago. Nola was spotted a seven-run lead early in the game and pitched like he should with a large lead; he threw strikes, even if it led to some earned runs. Nola threw 71-of-100 pitches for strikes while generating whopping 20 swinging strikes and posting a strong 38 CSW%. He pitched better than his final line would indicate, but fantasy managers can't be upset with a win and eight strikeouts. Nola will try and finish the first half strong in a tough matchup at Boston.
