Free-agent starting pitcher Corey Kluber (shoulder) has been cleared by Dr. Keith Meister to begin a throwing program, according to his agent, B.B. Abbott. Kluber is expected to throw off a mound in early December. The veteran right-hander became a free agent when the Texas Rangers declined his $18 million option for 2021. He's recovering from a right teres major muscle strain that he suffered in his first and only start of the shortened season. Kluber also missed most of 2019 after fracturing his right arm when he was hit by a line drive. The two-time Cy Young winner has seen his fantasy stock drop considerably heading into 2021 because of these injuries, but the 34-year-old could be a decent value pick, depending on where he lands, later in fantasy drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
