Dustin Pedroia Still Far Away From Returning
Dustin Pedroia (knee) has been hit hard by the injury bug in 2018. After having cartilage restoration surgery in his knee back in October, he finally returned to the Red Sox lineup on May 26. That was short-lived, however, as Pedroia only played in three games before being put back on the disabled list with knee inflammation. Manager Alex Cora has said that Pedroia is still not in a position to resume baseball activities. This is certainly worrying. The injury issues make Pedroia a volatile fantasy commodity, especially due to the fact that there is no timetable for Pedroia's return. Even in the deepest of leagues, he is tough to roster at this point.
