San Diego Padres starter Clayton Richard earned a win in eight strong innings Sunday against the St. Louis Cardinals. Aside from a two-run hiccup in the sixth inning, Richard was fantastic. He required 102 pitches to strikeout ten hitters, surrendering five hits a walk in the process. The outing is Richard's second consecutive eight inning and eight-plus strikeout performance, but he still owns a 5.20 ERA and 1.45 WHIP. His ownership may climb after the two quality starts but will be a risky play next week visiting the Pittsburgh Pirates. Richard has struggled on the road this season with an 8.36 ERA in three starts.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
