Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 4:
Woody Marks, Houston Texans
Houston Texans running back Woody Marks is making this backfield a little more interesting. David Montgomery is still getting the heavier workload, and that did not change in Week 3, but Marks has been the better runner so far. He has 65 yards on 22 carries through three games, good for 3.0 yards per attempt, while Montgomery sits at 103 yards on 37 carries and 2.8 yards per attempt.
Marks has also drawn eight targets, so Houston has already shown some willingness to use him beyond early-down work. He only had six touches against Indianapolis, but one of them was a one-yard touchdown late in the game. That matters. Marks is not taking over this backfield right now, but he keeps giving the Texans reasons to put more on his plate.
Montgomery should remain involved, especially around the goal line, though this looks less like a one-man backfield than it did a few weeks ago. Marks is worth watching closely against Dallas in Week 4.
Kaelon Black, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers running back Kaelon Black has seen his involvement dwindle week over week, but he remains one of the most valuable insurance backs in the league. After carrying the ball 14 times in the season opener, Black has logged only 11 carries over the past two outings, and he's a player to look out for as a potential post-waiver pickup.
With injuries mounting and bye weeks approaching, Black could be dropped by managers facing a roster crunch, and while he may not have the standalone value implied by his Week 1 usage, he is still worthy of an end-of-bench spot. Over three games, he has racked up 107 rushing yards on his 25 carries, and he has weekly RB1 potential if All-Pro Christian McCaffrey were to miss time.
Tre' Harris, Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Tre' Harris was able to break out during this past weekend's matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Harris was fairly quiet during the first two games of the year, but he made a solid impact on Sunday. Harris hauled in six of his seven targets for 76 yards in the loss to the Bills. Both the receptions and receiving yards are new season high for Harris.
The hope is that this good performance will lead to more opportunities for Harris during the Week 4 matchup against the New England Patriots. Harris is worth a look in deep leagues after this six-catch performance.
Chris Godwin Jr., Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin Jr. (ankle) has been cleared to play ahead of the Week 4 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. The veteran wideout is good to go, but his fantasy value remains shaky for this weekend.
Undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels will be making his first career start on Sunday. The expectation is that most of the offensive-skilled players will take a hit with Daniels under center. Godwin wasn't a great option before Baker Mayfield (thumb) went down, but now he'll be a shaky flex option for this weekend.
Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum played just 25 out of 86 (29%) offensive snaps in a 30-26 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 3. The six carries and 15 rushing yards were both season lows thus far for Corum in 2026. He appears to be operating clearly behind starter Kyren Williams, who played 61 snaps in Week 3 and has totaled 134 offensive snaps through three games, compared to Corum's 67.
Corum has tallied 28 rushes for 148 yards, while adding three receptions for 13 yards. Corum is yet to find the end zone, but he has been efficient with 5.3 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Williams has carried the ball 38 times for 214 yards (5.6 yards per carry) and a touchdown, and has caught 11 passes for 106 yards and an additional score. Corum will look to bounce back in a road matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4.
The Eagles are giving up 127.3 yards per game on the ground, so it could be a productive day for Corum and Williams. Corum ranks as RotoBaller's No. 35 running back for Week 4.
