Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte, who has been a staple in the Diamondbacks lineup for nine years, is set up for another strong 2026 campaign. Marte is coming off a fantastic 2025 season, slashing .283/.376/.517 with a .893 OPS, 28 home runs, 72 RBI, and 87 runs scored. This was after he had a career-high 36 home runs during the 2024 season. Marte is entering his 12th MLB season, and has a career .281/.351/.472 slash line and has been consistently one of the better second basemen in MLB over that stretch. The Diamondbacks' offense should remain productive in 2026, with Geraldo Perdomo, Marte, and Corbin Carroll (hand) at the top of the lineup. Currently, RotoBaller ranks him as the No. 2 second baseman off the board behind only Jazz Chisholm Jr. The argument could be made for Marte in points leagues because of his stellar plate discipline, where he ranks in the 85th and 84th percentile, respectively, in strikeout percentage and walk percentage.
