Week 10 fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Kyle Monangai, Trey Benson, Kareem Hunt in 2025. Read their waiver wire outlooks for fantasy football.
In Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season, Chicago Bears rookie Kyle Monangai came out of nowhere to lead the league in rushing. Many other running backs made a big impact.
Some lesser heralded backs found the end zone. Others remain on the fantasy radar as they rehab from injuries suffered earlier this season.
So, should fantasy managers add Monangai, Trey Benson, and Kareem Hunt in Week 10? Let's dive in and find out.

Kyle Monangai Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups

Monangai's 176-yard explosion against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9 wasn't surprising to fans who had been hyping him since the preseason. He looked like a great pure rusher at Rutgers, but he didn't have the best athletic numbers, nor elite pass blocking, so he fell into the seventh round to join a loaded Chicago Bears offense.

Monangai showed promise in limited carries early on, but he would need to improve his blocking to get more opportunities in Ben Johnson's offense. That he did, as his pass-blocking grade increased from below 45.0 in each of his first three games to landing in the 70s in his next three.
In Week 7, Monangai had double-digit carries for the first time, rushing for 81 yards and a touchdown on 13 rushes. The more times he touches the ball, the more efficient he seems to get. He's averaging 4.4 yards per rush on the season, but he ran for over 6.0 in two of the past three games.
He is a strong prospect going forward, but you can't expect this same kind of performance most weeks. His two best games came against the New Orleans Saints, who are allowing the 24th-most rushing yards per game, and the Cincinnati Bengals, who are dead last.
Monangai's playing time will likely decrease going forward if D'Andre Swift returns from a groin injury. With Swift and Roschon Johnson (back) both out, Brittain Brown was the Bears' No. 2 running back. He carried the ball just five times, while Monangai had 26 carries.
Monangai should solidify his role ahead of Johnson, but Swift has been playing well and will likely continue to split carries with Monangai when he returns.
Trey Benson Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups

Since James Conner (Achilles) and Benson (knee) went down, the Arizona Cardinals' rushing game has suffered. They've cycled through running backs before settling on Bam Knight. Knight is averaging just 3.5 yards per carry, and there's no question Benson would be an upgrade.
Benson is eligible to return to the active roster as early as Week 10. But will he return immediately? The Cardinals coaching staff has indicated it is getting ready to bring him back, having him attend team meetings, but it has not issued a timeline on his return to the field.
Benson has shown promise in his short career. As a rookie, he averaged 4.6 yards per attempt, and he improved to 5.5 yards per attempt in his first four games of the season.
Benson, a third-round pick, will likely emerge as the Cardinals' RB1 over the undrafted Knight once he is fully healthy. Fantasy managers would be advised to pick up and stash Benson, but they may want to wait until he gets ramped up to start him.
Kareem Hunt Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups

The final player on this list of RBs to add is Hunt, the Kansas City Chiefs' red-zone back. Hunt's role increased in Week 9 with Isiah Pacheco missing the game due to a knee injury.
He was the primary back for about 70% of the Chiefs' snaps and led the team with 11 carries, while the next running back, Brashard Smith, had just three. Hunt gained 49 yards and scored another touchdown, his sixth of the year. He only made one catch for six yards.
While Pacheco might return from his "week-to-week" injury in Week 11, following the Chiefs' Week 10 bye, Hunt would still maintain value as a touchdown-dependent goal-line back.
Hunt usually takes the bulk of the carries in short-yardage situations. Twenty-four of his 62 carries in the first eight weeks have come with between 1-3 yards to go, and 10 have come inside the opponents' 10-yard line, resulting in all five of his rushing touchdowns. (His one receiving touchdown also came inside the 10.)
Because of the game script, the Chiefs did not run the ball much against the Bills. Upcoming games against the Broncos in Week 11 and the Colts in Week 12 are also tough. The Chiefs could be trailing or not leading by much, which would lead them to throw the ball more.
Nonetheless, Hunt is a favored goal-line option, so a touchdown or two in a game is plausible. Pacheco managers will continue cursing him.
