NFL DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings - Cardinals vs. Cowboys Monday Night Showdown

Trey McBride - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers, Tight End

Koby's top NFL DFS lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel -- Cardinals vs. Cowboys MNF slate for Week 9 Monday Night Football (Nov. 3, 2025). His NFL daily fantasy sleeper picks.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! What a SNF game, the Seahawks are looking insanely dominant this season. It really sucks to see what happened to Jayden Daniels (elbow), though, and hopefully, he makes a full recovery, as that was just a brutal injury to witness.

We have a solid matchup here as the Arizona Cardinals (2-5), who are without Kyler Murray (foot) once again, travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys (3-4-1). Both teams are coming off a loss last week and look to bounce back here. If this is anything like Cowboys games have been, it could be a shootout, which is great for our fantasy teams!

In this article, I will be providing you with my Week 9 MNF daily fantasy football lineup picks for the 2025 NFL season. These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings. Be sure also to check out our weekly NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win big!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

MVP/Captain - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Dak Prescott - QB, DAL ($15.6K DK/$19.5K FD)

I'm chalking last week up to Prescott going against an extremely tough defense in Denver. In the four weeks prior, Prescott finished with at least three touchdowns and no interceptions on his way to 22+ fantasy points. He recently got CeeDee Lamb back in the lineup, which always adds an extra layer to this offense.

Prescott is also running the ball a bit more and getting his confidence back, as he has rushed the ball 5+ times in three of his last four games.

Whether you put him at MVP or in your flex spot, Prescott has shown the ability to put up a lot of fantasy points and leads this matchup in average points this season. The Cowboys love to throw the ball; it's just how their offense runs. He has thrown the ball 30+ times in all but one game this season, and that game, he only threw it 29 times.

If Prescott can keep the turnovers to a minimum, then he should be good for another 20+ fantasy point night.

Trey McBride - TE, ARI ($13.5K DK/$14.4K FD)

I like the discount we are getting on McBride on this slate; he is the sixth-highest-priced player on FD and fourth-highest on DK. He has benefited more from Jacoby Brissett at QB than from Murray. In the last two games, McBride has been targeted 24 times and caught 18 of them for 146 yards and three touchdowns. TEs haven't had the best success against the Cowboys this season, but McBride isn't your average TE.

This season, McBride has taken in a 28.6% reception share, which is nearly double that of the next-closest player, Marvin Harrison Jr. McBride is also benefiting from an offense that throws the ball more than it runs in the red zone this season, at 59% of the time. In the red zone this season, he has a 37% target share. No one on the Cardinals is coming close to his usage, which is what makes me so surprised he is so affordable on this slate.

Other Captains: CeeDee Lamb, Javonte Williams

Flex Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Jake Ferguson - TE, DAL ($8K DK/$8.8K FD)

Jake Ferguson was completely shut down in their loss to Denver last week, coming up with only one target and wasn't able to bring it in. I expect Ferguson to bounce back here against the Cardinals. Ferguson has been their guy in the red zone this season; he has the highest red-zone target share on the team at 25%. The Cowboys tend to throw the ball more often in the red zone at a slightly higher clip this season.

I think Ferguson gets a bit lower ownership on this slate after the dud he had last week. He should be back in his regular role with a much better matchup. Outside of last week, he had double-digit fantasy points in six of seven games, which goes to show how much of an outlier last week was.

Jacoby Brissett - QB, ARI ($8.6K DK/$11.4K FD)

The Cardinals' RB room has just been a carousel of guys in and out and injured all season. In the last two weeks that Brissett has started, this has benefited him as he has thrown the ball 80 times in those two games. The Cowboys' secondary is made for a big passing game. They have been tormented by QBs and their WRs all season long, giving up the most fantasy points to both.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see Brissett throw 40 times again. They still don't have a stable running game, and they have had decent success with him at QB so far.

In just those two games he has played, both games have resulted in higher fantasy scoring than Murray has done all season long. Brissett isn't quite as agile on his feet as he used to be, but he has still been able to get positive yardage in both games. Look for Brissett to come out slinging against a weak Cowboys defense.

Other Flex Options: Marvin Harrison Jr., Zonovan Knight

Value Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Zay Jones - WR, ARI ($4K DK/$5K FD)

This might end up being one of the best matchups on the slate, and he might go a bit overlooked. This Cowboys secondary has been constantly tormented all season long. They have given up the most fantasy points, the most TDs, and the second most receiving yards to opposing WRs this season. The big culprit on this Dallas defense is likely to be Zay Jones' matchup when he lines up on the right side.

Trikweze Bridges has given up the most fantasy points per route run this season at .58, and it's not particularly close with the next closest giving up .43 FPPR. All the matchups are going to be good for this Cardinals receiving core. If we can get a big game from somebody like Zay Jones, who has shown he can be a big piece to this core, especially in the last two weeks with Brissett at QB.

Brandon Aubrey - K, DAL ($5.4K DK/$7K FD)

I thought about going with one of the WRs for the Cowboys here in this spot, but between Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin, it can make for a tough choice. Pickens and Lamb are pretty heavy targets, and if the other guys don't get in the end zone, they don't become very fantasy relevant. But somebody who is fantasy relevant every week is Brandon Aubrey.

I for sure thought it would be Aubrey who would eventually break the NFL record, but Cam Little crushed a 68-yarder yesterday to take the record. Maybe we will see a 70-yarder in the near future.

Aubrey is still perfect in the field goals this year at 16/16, and has only missed one extra point on the season. He has been good for an average of 11 fantasy points per game, and at his price, he is a good play that should get you some guaranteed points. The Cardinals have given up the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing kickers this season.

If the Cardinals can keep the Cowboys out of the end zone, it could spell a big day for Aubrey, who has multiple made field goals in five of eight games this season.

Other Value Options: KaVontae Turpin, Jalen Tolbert, Emari Demercado

Sample NFL DFS Lineup

Here is a lineup option I like for Sunday morning's slate on FanDuel. Note that sample lineups are not intended to be used in contests by readers, but instead to show the type of roster construction that I am considering when building my lineups.
