With bye weeks underway, many managers could be without their starting QBs. This weekend, Caleb Williams and Jordan Love are among the must-start options who are not playing in Week 5.
As a result, managers will turn to the agency to find a one-week replacement. However, with numerous options available, it is essential for managers to take a look at the data to identify the optimal streaming option.
Quarterbacks are the highest-scoring position on average, and streaming the right one can be the difference between winning and losing your matchup. It's essential to make the right choice, and our rankings and analysis below provide you with some great options.

Top Quarterback Streamers for Week 5
Only players rostered in fewer than 60% of fantasy football leagues are considered potential streamers.
Jaxson Dart (NYG) @ New Orleans Saints
35% Rostered
Jaxson Dart looked rather impressive in his NFL debut, taking down the undefeated Los Angeles Chargers. In this contest, Dart totaled 21.0 PPR points as he threw for 111 yards and a score and added 53 yards and a second touchdown with his legs. Even though he will be without his top wide receiver, Malik Nabers (knee), for the rest of the season, his rushing upside should give him a safe floor moving forward.
This weekend, Dart will face the New Orleans Saints, who have allowed the sixth-most points to opposing QBs this season. Given that he looked quite comfortable against the Chargers, he could enjoy another strong showing, facing a much weaker defensive unit.

Sam Darnold (SEA) vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
30% Rostered
After enjoying a career season in Minnesota in 2024, many expected Darnold to progress in Seattle this season. However, after a quiet showing in Week 1, Darnold has returned to his typically low-end QB1 value and is a top streaming option this weekend. Since Week 2, Darnold has averaged 20.1 PPR points per game and averaged 251.7 passing yards per game over this stretch.
He has tossed five passing scores and has remained very efficient with the ball, as he has only attempted 25.7 passing attempts per game over this three-game stretch. This weekend, he will face the Buccaneers in what could be a high-scoring affair as Tampa Bay has allowed the ninth-most PPR points to opposing QBs this season.
Bryce Young (CAR) vs. Miami Dolphins
20% Rostered
Bryce Young has been tough to trust throughout his young career. At times, he flashes the upside of a former No. 1 overall pick, but at times, he looks replaceable in the Carolina offense. This season, Young has eclipsed 25.0 PPR points once and fallen under the 20.0 PPR point mark in the other three games. However, in Week 5, Young has a prime matchup to get back on track, facing the Dolphins.
Through four games, the Dolphins have been one of the worst defensive units in the sport, allowing the second-most PPR points to opposing QBs. While Young is a risk given his inconsistent production, managers in deeper 14-team leagues without Love or Williams should consider taking a flyer on Young.
In this matchup, he could push for a top-12 finish.
C.J. Stroud (HOU) @ Baltimore Ravens
55% Rostered
C.J. Stroud was a league-winner during his rookie season in 2023 but took a significant step back as a sophomore. While he has seen these struggles at times this season, Stroud is coming off his most impressive game of the young season. During the victory over the Titans, Stroud went 22-for-28 with 233 yards and two passing scores en route to eclipsing 20.0 PPR points for the first time this season.
He has one of his best matchups on the slate to stay hot, facing the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens have allowed the fourth-most PPR points to opposing QBs this season and should provide Stroud with ample opportunities to light up the scoreboard. Last weekend, Patrick Mahomes racked up 270 yards with four passing scores against them.

Tua Tagovailoa (MIA) @ Carolina Panthers
25% Rostered
The 27-year-old has been tough to trust this season and may not be on the radar of many managers after losing Tyreek Hill to a torn ACL. However, Tagovailoa could provide low-end QB1 production once again this weekend. Even though the Panthers have allowed the fifth-fewest points to opposing QBs this season, Tagovailoa could enjoy a strong showing.
Last weekend, Drake Maye had a career day against Carolina, totaling 25.3 PPR points. Since struggling in Week 1, Tagovailoa has gone on to average 19.8 PPR points per game over the last three games. During this stretch, he has totaled six passing scores and thrown just two interceptions.
