Tyler Reddick has struggled for top line speed in recent months somewhat and yesterday's Loudon race was no exception as Reddick backslid to ninth at the end of Stage 1 then began to lose his brakes in Stage 2. Although he finished the race on the lead lap, he gradually faded to 21st, placing him 23 points below the playoff cutline in 11th, only barely above his 23XI Racing teammate Bubba Wallace by four points. Perhaps the team's charter dispute is affecting their on-track performance. Traditionally, Reddick would be expected to run well at the Charlotte roval and especially Kansas (where he has won before) but he has also struggled for speed at places he's shown burst of dominance in the past this year, so it seems like the odds of him advancing to the Round of 8 are growing increasingly remote.--Sean Wrona - RotoBaller
