Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Miguel Rojas (finger) left Sunday's game against the Royals in the eighth inning after injuring his finger on a stolen base attempt in the seventh inning. After the game, Rojas said he won't need a trip to the injured list and that it was just a bad jammed finger, reports David Vassegh of SportsNet LA. The player's word isn't always the most reliable source of information, as it ultimately isn't up to them whether they play through the injury or not, but it's encouraging to see that he isn't concerned. Even if he doesn't need an IL stint, the 36-year-old could see some extended time on the bench while he recovers.--Jeremy Heist
