CBB DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/25/25)

Mark Sears - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 2/25/25. Mike M's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We are inching closer to March. The games mean a little more to some teams. We have another loaded Tuesday with 16 games across two slates. Most of the action is in the nine-game night slate, but a lot of the talent is in the seven-game main slate. There is no wrong answer tonight. Play them both! I'll help!

We've got some big names and some great matchups today. We'll go through all of those for each slate. We'll give you the core pieces with which you can build a cash or GPP lineup. Then we'll have some value plays to make it all fit. And for you Ricky Bobby types, we'll give you guys who have a great ceiling with a low floor because, "if you ain't first, you're last."

Here are my picks across all CBB DFS slates on Tuesday, February 25 with the main slate starting at 6:30 p.m. EST on DraftKings. The late slate starts at 9 p.m. EST.

Today's Main Slate DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Best Matchups:

Duke vs. Miami

Iowa State vs. Oklahoma State

Pitt guards vs. Georgia Tech

Minnesota forwards vs. Northwestern

Core Pieces:

Cooper Flagg, Duke ($11K)

This is the kind of consistency that we want to anchor our lineup with. Flagg has only been under 30 DraftKings points once since December 21. Since then, he has topped 40 DK points eight times and hit 50 and 60 one time each. There's a high floor and a good ceiling. Flagg is everything you want in a high-dollar DFS player.

Joshua Jefferson, Iowa State ($8.6K)

Jefferson has been a machine down low for the Cyclones. He has at least 24 DraftKings points in every game since Thanksgiving. This is a great matchup for Jefferson. He has topped 30 DraftKings points in five of the last six games. He should do so again tonight.

Ty Berry, Northwestern ($6.9K)

With Brooks Barnhizer and Jalen Leach out for the season, this is Ty Berry's team now. He's not the multi-function scorers that Barnhizer and Leach are, but Berry has filled in nicely. He has over 22 DraftKings points in nine of the last 10 games.

Value Pieces:

Dan Skillings Jr., Cincinnati ($4.7K)

Skillings was priced near the $8K mark at times this season. That highlights what kind of ceiling he has. The Big 12 (16) has kept Skillings under wraps for the most part, but he has at least 19 DraftKings points in four of the last five games.

Dishon Jackson, Iowa State ($4.6K)

We can forgive Jackson's pedestrian outing against a really good Houston team. He was averaging nearly 19 DraftKings points per game over his last seven outings before that game. I expect him back on track against the Pokes.

K.J. Windham, Northwestern ($4.3K)

Windham has 21.75 and 30.5 DraftKings points filling in for Leach as a starter this season. The third game was foul-plagued (he fouled out in just 19 minutes) and rough as he didn't make a shot and only had seven DK points. We'll write that one off and say he'll be around 20 against Minnesota.

Slate-Breaking Potential:

Kam Jones, Marquette ($9.5K)

The streak is still alive, but just barely. Jones only had 10 points against Villanova over the weekend. That shows good consistency from Jones, but we're here for the upside. Jones hit 50 DraftKings points three times in non-conference play and put up 44.25 in the first meeting against Providence.

We're chasing a ceiling game from Jones here. He's not consistent enough to hit value at this price consistently.

Baye Ndongo, Georgia Tech ($8.7K)

This isn't a great matchup, but Ndongo has four double-doubles in the last five games and has scored in double figures in seven straight. He has cleared 40 DraftKings points in each of the last three games, four of the last five, and five of the last seven games. He only hit that mark three times in the first 20 games of the season.

Alijah Martin, Florida ($6.3K)

The Gators have a lot of weapons, but Martin is still one of the team's best scorers when healthy. He is finally getting back up to his normal minutes load. Martin played 31 minutes against LSU. He put up 31 DraftKings points in the first meeting against Georgia in 32 minutes. A repeat is not only possible, it's likely.

Today's Late Slate DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Best Matchups:

Mississippi State vs. Alabama

Tennessee guards vs. LSU

Illinois vs. Iowa

Gonzaga frontcourt vs. Santa Clara

Wisconsin frontcourt vs. Washington

Core Pieces:

John Tonje, Wisconsin ($9.8K)

Tonje has at least 37 DraftKings points in four straight games and has topped 32 in seven of the last eight games since the disastrous outing against USC on January 18. The February thaw has turned Tonje into a blowtorch for the Wisconsin offense. He could have a monster against this Washington team.

Donovan Dent, New Mexico ($9.5K)

Tough match or not, we can't ignore what Dent has done in the last month. He has at least 37 DraftKings points in every game for the last five weeks. Not many players on any level can say that.

Josh Hubbard, Mississippi State ($8.9K)

Hubbard has at least 30 DraftKings points in every game this month. He first played Alabama on January 29 and racked up 45 DraftKings points. The potential is there for another ceiling game for Hubbard. The best part is we don't have to threaten our bottom line to chase it.

Nick Boyd, San Diego State ($6.9K)

Boyd has at least 28 DraftKings points in five straight games for the surging Aztecs. He wasn't a huge factor in the first game against New Mexico, but the price isn't prohibitive and he wasn't terrible in that game.

Value Pieces:

Pryce Sandfort, Iowa ($4.9K)

The younger Sandfort is getting a lot more playing time with Owen Freeman out. This isn't a great matchup, but Sandfort has hit double figures in DraftKings points in every game for the last month. That streak extends to before Freeman went down. He has turned into a solid value play.

Braden Huff, Gonzaga ($4.7K)

Huff rarely plays 20 minutes, but he routinely goes over 20 DraftKings points. He's a high-energy bench piece for Gonzaga who is one of the best shooters on the team. St. Mary's is the only team to hold him under 12 DK points since January 16.

DJ Davis, Washington ($4.6K)

We have seen a couple of big games out of Davis this season, but consistency has been an issue until recently. Davis has at least 18 DraftKings points in four straight games since a brutal cold spell in the middle of January. He should be safe to use in DFS lineups again.

Slate-Breaking Potential:

Collin Murray-Boyles, South Carolina ($9.9K)

Murray-Boyles does so much that doesn't show up on a stat sheet. His court awareness at 19 years old is off the charts. Anyone with this kind of basketball smarts and athleticism is welcome in my lineups at any time. CMB hasn't hit 50 DraftKings points this year, but he has seven games in the 40s. Don't be shocked if he winds up there tonight.

Mark Sears, Alabama ($8.8K)

Sears has 91 DraftKings points over the last two games. When he's hot, few players at any level can touch him. When he's not, his DFS floor is hell. This is a good matchup and he's running hot, so Sears is worth a look in GPP formats.

Ryan Nembhard, Gonzaga ($7.7K)

Nembhard is very inconsistent, but he put up a ceiling game against Santa Clara in the first meeting. Nembhard posted a season-best 51 DraftKings points in that January 18 game. Can he repeat the feat a month later? If you get 50 at this price, you're way ahead of the curve.
