FanDuel NBA DFS Picks for Today (Monday 11/25/24): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Scottie Barnes - Fantasy Basketball Rankings, NBA Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Dan's favorite FanDuel NBA DFS picks for today, Monday 11/25/24. His top daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for FanDuel DFS contests.

Happy Monday, RotoBallers! The NFL has only one game tonight, but we have NINE games over in the Association and all of them are on tonight's FanDuel slate of DFS action.

In today's edition, I recommend some higher-priced players for cash games and GPPs while highlighting some of my favorite value plays and game stacks. Read my buddy Jamie Calendro's article for advice on the DraftKings NBA slate!

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 11/25/24. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. EST on FanDuel.

FanDuel NBA DFS Core Picks

We have a value core today with all three picks coming in the 6k range! This should allow you to mix and match some higher-priced plays and cheap punts to build some solid lineups tonight.

Trey Murphy III, NOP - SG/SF ($6,100)

The Pelicans have had one wild start to the season. They lost Dejounte Murray in the first week, then their other lead guard C.J. McCollum shortly after. Herb Jones was their starting 3-man while Murphy started the season on the IR, but he played just four games before getting hurt.

Now Zion Williamson sounds like he could miss a huge chunk of the season. Jose Alvarado filled in admirably for a while before he eventually went down, too. Jordan Hawkins just finally returned last game but played sparingly.

You get the picture here, right? It's been the Brandon Ingram and Brandon Boston Jr. show for the most part the last few weeks and New Orleans was so desperate for guards that they signed Elfrid Payton off the practice squad.

So McCollum could return tonight, but even if he does I would expect Murphy to start alongside Ingram and be one of the top offensive producers for New Orleans. He played 38 minutes last time out in his first game without a minutes cap and finished with 24 points, four rebounds, and four assists. He's priced quite nicely for a player with his offensive arsenal.

P.J. Washington, DAL - PF ($6,400)

I'm stoked to see this latest P.J. Washington coming out party. It's taken an injury to Luka Doncic to make it happen, but we should take notice of what the young man is doing right now with this opportunity.

Luka is out again tonight and the Mavs get a pace-up matchup with Atlanta. I expect P.J. to continue to play big minutes and help carry the offensive burden for Dallas along with Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, and Daniel Gafford.

He's been good for 7x or better on his salary in those three games that Luka has missed and I think he's one of the best plays on the entire slate.

Robert Williams III, POR – PF/C ($5,600)

We could get a start tonight from the "Time Lord" as Donovan Clingan is out and Deandre Ayton is doubtful. That doesn't guarantee that he will play 30 minutes, but even if we get 25 from the big man that would likely be plenty for him to exceed value on this price tag.

Williams has been good for 1.38 FD points per minute this season. So a conservative estimate of 25 minutes would project him for 34.5 FD points. That feels like his floor with his ceiling being 50+ tonight against Memphis.

FanDuel NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

Brandon Miller, CHA – SG/SF ($7,500)

The Hornets are dropping like flies (no insect pun intended). They're missing both of their centers and just lost Grant Williams for the rest of the season. Miles Bridges is out tonight and so is Tre Mann. Charlotte just has very few players left who are natural scorers other than LaMelo Ball - who is also a great play tonight, too, but will probably be the more popular option.

For $2300 less, I am very interested in Miller for tournaments. Orlando is a tough matchup, but the minutes (42 last two games) and scoring (35 points) we are seeing from Miller is hard to ignore.

Miller has 47, 60, and 48 FD points in his last three. I don't see too many other sub-8k players with that type of ceiling. I'm rolling him out there as one of my favorite tourney plays tonight.

Andrew Wiggins, GSW – SF/PF ($6,000)

We are seeing a renaissance of sorts for Wiggins lately as he's stepped up to become the second-leading scorer for the Warriors behind star guard Stephen Curry.

Wiggins has 20+ actual points in four straight games and is looking more like the player that he was several years ago when he was an NBA All-Star.

The Warriors get the Nets tonight on the second half of a back-to-back. I'm more than happy to pay 6k for Wiggins when he's been over 40 FD points in three of his last seven games. Brooklyn will battle and probably keep this game close enough that Wiggins gets his 30 minutes and that should be enough for him to make value on this salary.

Isaiah Hartenstein, OKC - C ($6,200)

I love rostering centers in DFS and I'm usually annoyed that I can only play one on FanDuel. However, both Trace Jackson-Davis and Robert Williams III are both PF eligible tonight, so I'm happy to pay up a little more for the OKC big man in tourneys.

There are some other nice cheap options at center position tonight (Gafford/Capela) but I'm not sure either has the same high ceiling that Hartenstein has. He's played only one game since returning from injury, but he was fantastic with 13 points, 14 boards, three assists, and four blocks. That was good for 43 FD points and is pretty consistent with the type of per-minute production we have come to expect from him over the last few years.

As long as Chet Holmgren is out, I-Hart is going to smash on a nightly basis and he's going to be 7k or more by the end of the week - mark my words. Tonight is your chance to play him at his lowest salary in a good spot against Sabonis.

Others Under Consideration: LaMelo Ball - PG ($9,800), Jaden Ivey - PG/SG ($6,800), Scottie Barnes - SF/PF ($8,100), Nikola Jokic - C ($12,500), De'Aaron Fox - PG ($8,900)

FanDuel NBA DFS Value Picks

Malik Beasley, DET – SG/SF ($5,300)

Beasley has been as steady as they come lately and should be leaned on tonight for more offense with Cade Cunningham being doubtful for Detroit. He's had a super safe floor of around 25 FD points with the potential to push up toward 40 if he gets hot shooting from deep.

Kevin Porter Jr., LAC - PG/SG ($4,600)

I'm assuming Norman Powell probably doesn't play today after missing yet another game last night. That should open up more shots and minutes for KPJ off the bench. He's posted 30, 27, and 23.5 FD points in the three games that Powell has missed.

Trayce Jackson-Davis, GSW – PF/C ($4,900)

I love TJD's game and I'm never too worried about his minutes because of how quickly he can accumulate stats. If he was playing a steady 25+ minutes a night, we simply wouldn't see him this cheap as he'd be averaging more than 20 FD points per night. So it's a crap shoot with minutes, but I'm willing to roll the dice on him as he's capable of 6 to 7x value on this salary if he plays minutes in the low to mid-twenties.

Daniel Gafford, DAL – C ($4,900)

Continuing the theme of ultra-efficient fantasy producers, Gafford is another awesome per-minute player who is too cheap tonight. He's been over 30 FD points in two straight and should see a few more shots on offense with Luka Doncic out.

Clint Capela, ATL – C ($5,500)

Capela is on a nice run right now, producing 33 or more FD points in three straight games. His minutes are never guaranteed but have been trending up towards the mid-twenties which is enough for him to do some nice damage, especially against a weak rebounding team like Dallas.

Others Under Consideration: Cody Martin - SG/SF ($5,200), Tidjane Salaun  - SF/PF ($3,700), Bogdan Bogdanovic - SG/SF ($4,800)
