Fantasy Basketball Category Streamers for Week 23: Terry Taylor, Dwight Powell, Tre Mann, Trey Lyles, Tyus Jones and More

NBA fantasy baseball streamers waiver wire pickups

Week 23 fantasy basketball streamers based on H2H 9-category leagues for the 2021-2022 NBA season. Keith Cork recommends guards, forwards, and centers to target through waivers or free agency in fantasy leagues who may help in specific categories.

The fantasy season is winding down and winners are being crowned. Is that you? It could be if you stream correctly!

Let's see how our top picks last week fared: Drew Eubanks (FG%, eighth-round total value), Immanuel Quickley (FT%, seventh-round value), Brandon Williams (PTS, 16th-round value), Malik Beasley (3PTM, unranked womp womp), Jarred Vanderbilt (REBS, unranked womp womp), Dennis Schroder (ASTS, sixth-round value), Kris Dunn (STLS, 15th-round value), Isaiah Jackson (BLKS, unranked womp womp). Five out of eight of our top guys were valuable to us, so we'll take it! I might be done suggesting Isaiah Jackson... this dude can's stay on the floor.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are prime real estate this week as the only team with five games on the week. 22 teams have four games this week too, so we'll just eliminate the seven teams that have only three games (Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans, Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz).

Our staff at RotoBaller has great insight and daily columns on how to improve your squad and tips to make your team successful, so be sure to check them out. Now, let's get prepared for the upcoming week and go win your leagues. All players in this article are rostered at 50 percent or less.

Week 23 Standard 9-Category Leagues

Columns are written based on H2H nine-category standard size leagues:

FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE

Terry Taylor - SG/SF - Indiana Pacers (3% rostered)

The Pacers have a four-game week, and Terry Taylor has been getting plenty of burn the past three weeks or so. He's averaged 25.8 minutes per game in that span and he's put up 11.6 points per game and 4.9 rebounds per game, which is good enough for low-end value. Most importantly for this category though, he's shot 71% from the field on 6.9 attempts in that span. Go grab him if you're looking for an edge in FT%, PTS, and REBs.

Other streamers:

FREE THROW PERCENTAGE

Dwight Powell - PF/C - Dallas Mavericks (21% rostered)

The Mavericks have four games this week and Dwight Powell has been on fire from the line, hitting on 92% of his 3.3 attempts per game over the last three weeks. He's a career 75% free-throw shooter, but from your center position, that's a good number anyways. You can scoop him up and hope he continues to shoot significantly better than average from the line.

Other streamers:

  • Marcus Morris - PF/C - Los Angeles Clippers (49% rostered)
  • Josh Richardson - SG/SF - San Antonio Spurs (7% rostered)
  • Kris Dunn - PG/SG - Portland Trail Blazers (14% rostered)
  • Trey Lyles - PF/C - Sacramento Kings (16% rostered)
  • Danilo Gallinari - SF/PF - Atlanta Hawks (22% rostered)

POINTS

Tre Mann - PG/SG - Oklahoma City Thunder (40% rostered)

The waiver wire is pretty thin when it comes to points, but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is likely to get a few DNPs this week in Oklahoma City's four games, so Tre Mann should be able to put up plenty of points. He has scored 18.3 points per game over the past two weeks and that should be helpful for managers. Plus, he contributes enough in other categories to make him a nice roster add. He was an eighth-round value over the past two-week stretch.

Other streamers:

  • Goga Bitadze - C - Indiana Pacers (27% rostered)
  • Bones Hyland - PG/SG - Denver Nuggets (42% rostered)
  • Danilo Gallinari - SF/PF - Atlanta Hawks (22% rostered)
  • Jalen Smith - PF/C - Indiana Pacers (41% rostered)
  • Terance Mann - SG/SF - Los Angeles Clippers (41% rostered)

THREE-POINTERS

Tre Mann - PG/SG - Oklahoma City Thunder (40% rostered)

Oh hey, look. You should really pick up Tre Mann if you're not catching the drift. He's averaged 3.4 triples per contest over the past few weeks.

Other streamers:

  • Pat Connaughton - SG/SF - Milwaukee Bucks (19% rostered)
  • Bones Hyland - PG/SG - Denver Nuggets (42% rostered)
  • Ben McLemore - SG/SF - Portland Trail Blazers (12% rostered)
  • Chuma Okeke - PF - Orlando Magic (35% rostered)
  • Justin Holiday  - SG/SF - Sacramento Kings (25% rostered)

REBOUNDS

Trey Lyles - PF/C - Sacramento Kings (16% rostered)

Domantas Sabonis might be out for the rest of the season since the Kings aren't going anywhere fast. If that's the case, Trey Lyles should continue to roll as he has averaged 12.2 points and 9.2 rebounds over the past two weeks. Go stream him for a four-game week and enjoy those stats!

Other streamers:

ASSISTS

Tyus Jones - PG - Memphis Grizzlies (29% rostered)

This one's easy as Ja Morant is set to miss the entire next week. Tyus Jones becomes one of the hottest pickups for teams in need of dimes and he has put up 6.7 dimes per contest, including a few double-digit efforts in the past week. He's great for points, threes, and steals as well. Go get him if you need a guard.

Other streamers:

  • Jose Alvarado - PG - New Orleans Pelicans (38% rostered)
  • Killian Hayes - PG/SG - Detroit Pistons (20% rostered)
  • Kris Dunn - PG/SG - Portland Trail Blazers (14% rostered)
  • Dennis Schroder - PG - Houston Rockets (48% rostered)
  • Tomas Satoransky - PG/SG - Washington Wizards (2% rostered)

STEALS

Matisse Thybulle - SG/SF - Philadelphia 76ers (44% rostered)

Jose Alvarado is the man of the hour after securing another contract, and he has the higher upside per game, but Matisse Thybulle is the one that has four games this week and can put up defensive stats in bunches. Feel free to stream Jose, but he's only got three games this week. Thybulle is averaging 1.7 steals per game this season, the highest mark of his career. He contributes 1.1 blocks per game as well.

Other streamers:

  • Kris Dunn - PG/SG - Portland Trail Blazers (14% rostered)
  • Delon Wright - PG/SG - Atlanta Hawks (3% rostered)
  • Devin Vassell - SG/SF - San Antonio Spurs (37% rostered)
  • Donte DiVincenzo - PG/SG - Sacramento Kings (14% rostered)
  • Jose Alvarado - PG - New Orleans Pelicans (38% rostered)

BLOCKS

Onyeka Okongwu - PF/C - Atlanta Hawks (13% rostered)

His numbers aren't sexy, but if you need blocks, Onyeka Okongwu is your man. He's put up four multi-block efforts in six games over the past few weeks, and he should maintain his role as John Collins remains on the sidelines recovering from a medical procedure. Get him out there for his four games this week if you need blocks.

Other streamers:

  • Zach Collins - PF/C - San Antonio Spurs (2% rostered)
  • Isaiah Hartenstein - PF/C - Los Angeles Clippers (14% rostered)
  • Jalen Smith - PF/C - Indiana Pacers (41% rostered)
  • Trendon Watford - SF - Portland Trail Blazers (48% rostered)
  • Isaiah Roby - C - Oklahoma City Thunder (21% rostered)
