World Cup DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings: Matchday 21

Martin Konstantinov's WC DFS lineup picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for Matchday 21. The top daily fantasy soccer players and sleepers for the World Cup.

With two games in the Quarter Finals, today's showdowns are England vs Sweden and Russia vs Croatia. Due to the multiple games being played, lineups are back to their normal constructions. Below we bring you seven players you should consider as World Cup DFS lineup picks for Matchday 21 (on July 7th, 2018).

Not all are top-tier options, as there is a range of DFS value picks, sleepers and high-risk players mixed in.

Consider all of these players for your DFS lineups; however, at the end of the day, it is always your decision. Good luck, RotoBallers.

WC DFS Forwards to Consider

Harry Kane - F, England (DK - $11,800, FD - $13,000)

With six goals to his name thus far in the tournament and a very easy matchup against Sweden, Harry Kane is a must own option for GPP formats in today's slate. England has designated Kane as their penalty taker, with three goals from the spot so far this tournament. Leading the tournament with six goals throughout the the games so far, Kane is a fantastic option to have for owners who are willing to spend top dollar for top talent.

Marcus Berg - F, Sweden (DK - $5,900, FD - $7,500)

Sweden's most dangerous forward, Berg has been a very creative outlet for his side but has yet to get his name on the scoresheet at this year's tournament. Playing alongside Ola Toivonen, Berg is a dangerous forward who can do it all in terms of both creating and scoring for his team. A great athlete, consider Berg a good contrarian play and therefore an excellent Tournament lineup for your team.

WC DFS Midfielders to Consider

Jesse Lingard - M, England (DK - $6,100, FD - $8,000)

Lingard, surprisingly, was one of the best players on the pitch in England's late victory over Colombia. With Dele Alli underwhelming throughout the tournament, it has fallen on Lingard's shoulders to be the main creative outlet for his side. If anyone will get an assist in the match against Sweden, it should be Lingard. Therefore, his value on DraftKings makes him a fantastic midfielder to get; on FanDuel, he is a very fairly priced solid midfielder.

Roman Zobnin - M, Russia (DK - $4,800, FD - $7,500)

A very solid and underrated attacking midfielder, Zobnin has been one of Russia's better players so far in the tournament. Although Croatia are expected to dominate the game, if Russia have a counter attack or two Zobnin may be able to capitalize. With an extremely affordable price on DraftKings, Zobnin is an excellent Tournament play who could end up being a slate-winner due to his low ownership levels.

WC DFS Defenders to Consider

Ivan Strinic - D, Croatia (DK - $4,700, FD - $6,000)

With Croatia the expected favorites against Russia, owning some Croatian defenders wouldn't be the worst idea in the world. Having a fullback like Strinic who gets up and down the pitch in your lineup is always a good idea due to the upside of having a clean sheet as well as potentially contributing to offensive play with a cross or assist. Therefore, consider Strinic a good option on both sites in today's slate.

Mario Fernandes - D, Russia (DK - $4,600, FD - $4,500)

Because Russia are expected to lose to Croatia, Fernandes is a solid upside option who will definitely have low ownership levels across the slate. Very nicely priced on both DraftKings and FanDuel, the right back has shown that he gets up the pitch frequently and is a threat to cross for forward Artem Dzyuba throughout the game. Fernandes is a very underrated option in the slate who could be a difference maker on the pitch and for your fantasy teams.

WC DFS Goalies to Consider

Jordan Pickford - G, England (DK - $5,300, FD - $4,500)

With the easiest matchup in the entire slate and the cheapest option on FanDuel, Jordan Pickford is a great option who is the most likely to get a clean sheet and victory for his team. With England the heavy favorites against Sweden in their Quarter Final matchup, expect Pickford to have a high points total, totally justifying the cost of ownership on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Pickford is a good GPP and Tournament option due to his high potential saves and high victory total. Additionally, consider adding as many English players as you can in your lineups - they have the highest chance of a high-scoring win around the slate.

Good luck this weekend!
