World Cup DFS Lineup Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings: Matchday 19

Martin Konstantinov's WC DFS lineup picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for Matchday 19. The top daily fantasy soccer players and sleepers for the World Cup.

With two games in the Round of 16, today's showdowns are Switzerland vs Sweden and England vs Colombia. Due to the multiple games being played, lineups are back to their normal constructions. Below we bring you seven players you should consider as World Cup DFS lineup picks for Matchday 19 (on July 3rd, 2018).

Not all are top-tier options, as there is a range of DFS value picks, sleepers and high-risk players mixed in.

Consider all of these players for your DFS lineups; however, at the end of the day, it is always your decision. Good luck, RotoBallers.

WC DFS Forwards to Consider

Harry Kane - F, England (DK - $11,600, FD - $13,000)

Currently the tournament's leading goalscorer after starting just two of the three games in the Group Stage, Harry Kane should have every opportunity to continue his run of goals in the World Cup. Kane is an out-and-out goalscorer who should have several chances in a game against Colombia that should be a battle of two offensive powerhouses. Even though he is extremely pricey, having Kane in your lineups is a must in GPP formats.

Radamel Falcao - F, Colombia (DK - $7,100, FD - $11,000)

Although his price on FanDuel might be too high to justify picking him as a top-level striker, if you go away from selecting Harry Kane you should consider his opposing striker for Colombia tomorrow Radamel Falcao. Falcao has one goal already this tournament and will definitely see a few good chances throughout the game as part of a team that is lacking midfield talisman James Rodriguez in their lineup.

WC DFS Midfielders to Consider

Juan Quintero - M, Colombia (DK - $6,800, FD - $8,000)

James Rodriguez's replacement, Juan Quintero has performed well in each game that he has played (off the bench and as a starter), with a goal and two assists to his name this tournament. Although his career has been rather stagnant at club level for the last two years, Quintero is still a difference maker on the national team and should be used as a starter in today's game, making him a perfect budget option for your midfield on both sites.

Valon Behrami - M, Switzerland (DK - $3,200, FD - $5,500)

Not known as an attacking midfielder, Behrami has nevertheless been one of the better performers for a good Swiss side so far this tournament. It's only a matter of time before these performances start turning into meaningful stats. Although it's unlikely that Behrami will score, his value (especially on DraftKings) and Switzerland's expected victory over Sweden mean that Behrami is still a decent Tournament lineup consideration who is guaranteed to start.

WC DFS Defenders to Consider

Ricardo Rodriguez - D, Switzerland (DK - $5,200, FD - $4,700)

Having a team's set piece and penalty taker is always a good idea for slates during this World Cup. Therefore, selecting Swiss fullback Ricardo Rodriguez is a must given his value and potential contribution to the team, both throughout the game and potentially from the penalty spot. Rodriguez's price on FanDuel makes him an excellent value play, and his DraftKings value is not too shabby either.

Ashley Young - D, England (DK - $4,700, FD - $5,500)

If you need a good defender for GPP formats from England, most will look to right back Kieran Trippier. However, Ashley Young has been putting in solid performances on the left and could provide an even bigger impact against a Colombian right side manned by Santiago Arias, who is known to neglect his defensive duties from time to time. Therefore, Young could be a good budget option on DraftKings and a solid return in today's slate regardless of the format.

WC DFS Goalies to Consider

David Ospina - G, Colombia (DK - $4,300, FD - $5,500)

It's always a good idea to chase the upside at the goalkeeper position and create value for their price. Therefore, Colombia goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa is a good option against an England side that has almost never performed well in the latter stages of the World Cup. Ospina will likely be heavily involved regardless of the match result. If the Arsenal backup goalkeeper is able to keep a clean sheet, Ospina truly has the potential to have a massive impact in your team's overall performance. Therefore, Ospina becomes a good value option on DraftKings who is fairly priced on FanDuel and is one of the better goalkeeper options in this slate.

Good luck this weekend!
