Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away heading into Week 7:
Omarion Hampton, RB, Chargers
Trade Value: 35.3
ROS Rank: 64
Los Angeles Chargers running back Omarion Hampton (ankle) is expected to spend more than the minimum four weeks on injured reserve, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
The injury that the rookie suffered in Week 5 appears to be serious enough that he'll be out through at least Week 10, and perhaps longer. The Chargers have a Week 12 bye, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Los Angeles hold him out until Week 13, giving him an extra week off to rest.
Losing both Hampton and Najee Harris (Achilles) is a major blow for the Chargers, who will turn to Hassan Haskins and Kimani Vidal but could also look to make external running back additions.
Verdict: Buy low if you have an IR slot and enough running back depth
Ja'Marr Chase, WR, Bengals
Trade Value: 71
ROS Rank: 18
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase had a solid game in Week 6, his first game playing alongside new Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco. Faced with a tough matchup against the Green Bay Packers, Chase finished Week 6 with 10 catches for 94 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets.
The 25-year-old now has 42 catches for 468 yards and four touchdowns on 57 targets through his first six games of 2025. After a couple of down games immediately following the Bengals' loss of starting quarterback Joe Burrow (toe), Chase has bounced back over the past two weeks.
Ja'Marr Chase remains a clear must-start fantasy wide receiver heading into a Week 7 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Verdict: Buy if the price is reasonable
Courtland Sutton, WR, Broncos
Trade Value: 54.3
ROS Rank: 34
Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton was a victim of the New York Jets' secondary, catching one of three targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 13-11 win over the Jets in London.
It was the second time this season Sutton was held to just one catch. The Jets held Broncos quarterback Bo Nix to just 174 passing yards on the day, who completed 19 passes amongst seven different receivers.
The 30-year-old was blanketed and was held to just one catch. Despite the lackluster outing in London, Sutton remains a strong WR2 and will look to bounce back in a home matchup versus the New York Giants in Week 7.
Verdict: Buy if the price is reasonable
Bucky Irving, RB, Buccaneers
Trade Value: 44.3
ROS Rank: 49
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said on Monday that running back Bucky Irving (foot, shoulder) is not in play to return for the team's Week 7 game next Monday night against the Detroit Lions, according to Greg Auman of FOX Sports.
Irving missed a second straight game in the Week 6 win over the San Francisco 49ers due to a foot sprain and a subluxation of his shoulder, and it appears fantasy managers are going to have to wait a little longer for his return. He may be available to return for a divisional matchup in Week 8 against the New Orleans Saints.
With Irving sidelined, Rachaad White hasn't exactly been the most efficient with his increased touches out of the backfield, but he has had a nose for the end zone and has scored three times in two games. Expect at least another game in the lead-back role for White against Detroit. Fantasy managers need to keep him in their lineups as a volume-based RB2.
Verdict: Buy low if you can, high upside in Bucs offense
Fantasy Football Trade Rankings Values
The higher the Trade Value number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Find your players, add up the trade values of each side of the offer, and see which side of the trade wins.
Who Should I Trade For?
Week 7 Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - Omarion Hampton, Deebo Samuel Sr., Ja'Marr Chase, Courtland Sutton, Bucky Irving, Ashton Jeanty, CeeDee Lamb. These are some key fantasy football names heading into this week's matchups.
Using The Trade Values. This is a simple trade value tool, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.
How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings, projections, and trade values based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this trade value rankings.
How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
