Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 16:
Quinshon Judkins, RB, Cleveland Browns
This is the second straight week Judkins has failed to gain more than 30 yards, and he was kept out of the end zone in Chicago. The Cleveland Browns face the Buffalo Bills in Week 16, who have recently struggled to defend the run. With fellow rookie running back Dylan Sampson (calf, hand) still managing injuries, Judkins should see the majority of the backfield workload again in a more favorable matchup.
Tyrone Tracy Jr., RB, New York Giants
The 26-year-old had a team-high 15 carries for 70 yards (4.7 yards per carry) and a touchdown while adding three catches on three targets for 27 yards and another score. Backfield mate Devin Singletary had only six touches for 14 scrimmage yards. Tracy rewarded fantasy managers who were bold enough to start him this week with his first trips to the end zone since Week 7. Going into a Week 16 matchup against the Vikings, Tracy will profile as an RB2 in the fantasy semifinals as the Giants' clear RB1.
Omarion Hampton, RB, Los Angeles Chargers
In his final two full games before suffering the ankle injury, Hampton demonstrated his explosive upside by logging 294 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns on 42 touches. If the Chargers continue to increase his workload as he gets healthier, Hampton could get back to his pre-injury levels of production. Los Angeles will face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16 before hosting the Houston Texans in Week 17.
RJ Harvey, RB, Denver Broncos
Harvey has recorded at least 14 touches in four games since taking over as Denver's lead back with J.K. Dobbins (foot) on Injured Reserve. He's been one of the most productive running backs in fantasy football with the increased workload, ranking as the RB6 in PPR points per game at 18.6 over that stretch. Assuming he is healthy, Harvey will project as a solid RB1 again in Week 16 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. If Harvey is held out or is limited, Jaleel McLaughlin would step in to handle most of the early down work, with Tyler Badie working on passing downs.
Woody Marks, RB, Houston Texans
Across a five-game stretch from Week 10 to Week 14, Marks recorded 313 rushing yards and a touchdown on 93 carries. Fellow Texans running back Nick Chubb (ribs) is also dealing with an injury that caused him to miss Week 15. If Chubb misses additional time and Marks can make his return in Week 16, he could be in line to continue dominating backfield work in Houston down the stretch of the season.
