The 2024 fantasy football season wraps up in Week 17 with an exciting set of games on Christmas Day. The day starts with a matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Should fantasy players start Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, or Travis Kelce this week?
Should I Start Patrick Mahomes For Fantasy Football?
Mahomes is the QB10 for the year, averaging 17.1 fantasy points per game. The superstar has had one passing touchdown in three of his past four weeks, including the Week 16 win over the Houston Texans. However, he did have a rushing touchdown, finding the end zone with his legs for the first time since Week 7.

Fantasy players should only start Mahomes as a QB2 on Christmas Day. The Steelers have one of the top defenses in the NFL, limiting opposing quarterbacks’ fantasy production.
Should I Start Russell Wilson For Fantasy Football?
Wilson is the QB26 for the year, averaging 16 fantasy points per game. The veteran has played the past three games without George Pickens. Yet, he has played well, averaging 1.7 passing touchdowns and 13.3 fantasy points per game.
Last week, the veteran looked like vintage Wilson. He made some impressive throws against a talented Baltimore Ravens defense. Thankfully, the veteran will get back Pickens this week, giving him some high-end QB2 upside.

Should I Start Travis Kelce For Fantasy Football?
Kelce is the TE6 for the year, averaging 8.6 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. The future Hall of Famer hasn’t had ideal fantasy production, totaling single-digit fantasy points in five of his past six games, including three consecutive contests.
However, Kelce has made several impact plays for the Chiefs. While he hasn’t been the high-end TE1 fantasy players drafted him to be, the veteran is still a solid starting option in Week 17 despite facing a talented Steelers defense.
