Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 16? Chuba Hubbard, Jonathan Taylor, Rachaad White

Rachaad White - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Who should I start for Week 16? Fantasy football outlooks for Chuba Hubbard, Jonathan Taylor, Rachaad White. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

With most fantasy leagues kicking off the semifinal round of the fantasy playoffs in Week 16, start/sit decisions are even more important than usual. Today we will look at three starting-quality fantasy running backs and break down what can be expected out of them this week.

With all of the injuries to various running backs over the past few weeks, fantasy managers may need to make some tough decisions as they try to lock up a spot in the championship game next week.

Let's take a look at three running backs who fantasy gamers can consider starting heading into Week 16. More below!

Should I Start Chuba Hubbard for Fantasy Football?

Chuba Hubbard has emerged as one of the best value picks from fantasy drafts this past summer. He has handled the majority of the running-back work for the Panthers and has very little competition for touches for the remainder of the season with rookie Jonathon Brooks unfortunately retearing his ACL two weeks ago and being out indefinitely.

In Week 16, Hubbard will take on the Arizona Cardinals at home. Arizona has been generous to running backs this season, allowing the 10th-most fantasy points per game to the position. With five rushing touchdowns over his past six games, Hubbard sets up as a low-end RB1/high-end RB2 and should find his way into all fantasy lineups this weekend.

Should I Start Jonathan Taylor for Fantasy Football?

Jonathan Taylor has been a reliable, if unspectacular, fantasy producer in 2024, racking up 911 rushing yards and six touchdowns across 11 games. The Colts have struggled on offense this season as they benched Anthony Richardson for Joe Flacco and then went back to Richardson, which hasn't helped any of their skill players and has capped Taylor's ceiling.

Taylor will take on the Tennessee Titans at home in Week 16. The Titans have not been very imposing to opposing running backs this season, allowing the 13th-most fantasy points per game to the position.

The unit appears to be getting worse as they allowed Chase Brown to rack up 26.6 PPR points against them last week while Tank Bigsby and Travis Etienne Jr. combined for 24.2 PPR points in Week 14 and Brian Robinson Jr. and Chris Rodriguez Jr. combined for 33.3 fantasy points the game before that.

Fantasy managers should treat Taylor as a high-end RB2 for Week 16 and should only have him on the bench if they have three no-brainer RB1s ahead of him to start. Let's just hope for all our sakes that he doesn't drop the ball before crossing the goal line this week.

Should I Start Rachaad White for Fantasy Football?

Rachaad White has seen the Bucs give a significant portion of his work to upstart rookie Bucky Irving this season. While not ideal for White after he was the team's bell-cow back in 2023, he has stayed fantasy-relevant thanks to his high touchdown rate and abilities as a pass catcher.

Over the last six games, White has scored six all-purpose touchdowns, three on the ground and three through the air. That being said, his production has been too reliant on touchdowns as he only has six catches over his past four games.

In Week 16, White and the Buccaneers will head on the road to take on the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. This game should be a high-scoring one as it currently has the highest over/under on the slate (48.5 points). The main concern is that White could bust if he doesn't find his way into the end zone as Irving should out-touch him against Dallas. For that reason, White settles in as a high-end RB3/flex type for Week 16.
