Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider drafting in 2026:
Quentin Johnston, Los Angeles Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston is entering his fourth year in the NFL, coming off of his best statistical season in which he recorded 51 catches for 735 yards and eight touchdowns. Johnston was widely regarded as a bust after a shaky rookie season, but the former first-rounder has emerged as a steady contributor in the offense.
Johnston led the Chargers in receiving touchdowns in 2025, and finished just 54 yards behind leading receiver Ladd McConkey. His play was inconsistent, with a big statistical spike at the beginning of the season and again in Weeks 16-17. If Keenan Allen, who is currently a free agent, does not return, Johnston could see more consistent usage in 2026.
Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans
Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard has quietly remained one of the more reliable fantasy backs in the league, topping 1,000 rushing yards and 30 receptions in each of the past four seasons while never finishing worse than RB24 in half-PPR formats.
Despite that consistency, the 29-year-old former Pro Bowler has fallen well into this year's running back dead zone, sliding to RB30 in RotoBaller's 2026 redraft rankings. Tennessee spent a fifth-round pick on running back Nicholas Singleton, adding a degree of competition to the Titans' backfield.
While a broken foot suffered at the 2026 Senior Bowl likely contributed to his slide into Day 3, his fall from one of the top high school recruits in the nation also suggests an inability to shake some of the concerns about his poor vision and stiffness, potentially making him more of a developmental project than an immediate threat to Pollard's workload.
New offensive coordinator Brian Daboll should prove capable of boosting a Titans offense that averaged 232 total yards under Brian Callahan but showed signs of growth after his Week 7 firing. Following Daboll from the Giants is wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson, and the team spent the fourth overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft on Ohio State's Carnell Tate, but even if the Titans don't take a monumental step forward on offense, Pollard projects once again as a steady RB2 option.
His all-around skill set makes him the favorite to remain the lead back, with weekly volume and receiving usage capable of keeping his fantasy floor intact.
Stefon Diggs, Washington Commanders
Stefon Diggs has been in the news more for his off-the-field troubles than his on-the-field touchdowns over the past couple years. He was able to record the seventh 1,000-yard year of his storied career last season during his one-and-done stint with the AFC champion New England Patriots. After not getting much attention from teams this offseason, Diggs signed with the receiver-starved Washington Commanders, which looks like a match made in fantasy heaven on paper.
Washington's passing attack was ravaged by injuries in 2025 to franchise quarterback Jayden Daniels, WR1 Terry McLaurin, and TE Zach Ertz. Diggs fills the void at the WR2 position alongside McLaurin and gives the now-healthy Daniels another consistent pass catcher to throw to. Hopefully Diggs' legal troubles are behind him, but unfortunately his best days might be behind him, too.
He only has seven touchdown receptions over his last 25 games, and he has not had a 50-yard catch since 2023. McLaurin will still be Daniels' top option, so Diggs might be looking at finishing between the 750-900-yard range this season as the WR2. He is now more of a possession receiver than a game breaker.
Diggs' value is higher in PPR since he should be able to snag 75-85 passes, but in standard leagues his value will not be like it once was. He is not the same player, which is why he is on his fourth team in four years.
George Pickens, Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens put together his long-awaited breakout campaign in 2025. After showing flashes of immense upside with the Steelers over the first three seasons of his career, he took a massive step forward when joining forces with Dak Prescott and the Cowboys. During his first campaign in the NFC East, the former George Bulldog caught 93 passes for 1,429 yards and nine scores.
Overall, Pickens was the WR6 in PPR scoring and finished third at his position in total receiving yards, making him one of the best values on the board in 2025 fantasy drafts. In the offseason, there was some growing speculation that the Cowboys could consider moving on from Pickens, but both sides agreed to the franchise tag, which keeps him under contract for the 2026 campaign. As a result, the 25-year-old enters the 2026 campaign as a borderline WR1 given that his situation has remained fairly constant.
Even though he will be sharing the field with another superstar wideout in CeeDee Lamb, Prescott is able to support both of them, given the nature of the games the Cowboys play. In 2025, the Cowboys surrendered 30.1 PPG (the most in football), which forced them to drive the ball downfield. While they did take strides in improving this unit, managers should not expect a drastic shift in just one season.
Given his role in the Dallas offense that threw the ball the third-most times in football last season, fantasy managers should feel comfortable selecting Pickens at his current Sleeper ADP of 23, going off the board as the No. 10 WR.
Michael Pittman Jr., Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. had 80 receptions on 111 targets for 784 yards and seven touchdowns in 2025. It was a new career high in touchdowns for Pittman, but it was his lowest yardage total since his rookie season in 2020. A prominent piece in the Colts' surprisingly dynamic offense during the first half of the season, Pittman's production fell off a cliff after his only 100-yard performance of the season in Week 9.
From Week 10 on, Pittman averaged 27.9 receiving yards and 3.54 PPR points per game. Now playing opposite DK Metcalf in Pittsburgh, Pittman is no longer the default WR1 on his team, and his streak of five consecutive 100-target seasons may be at its end. On the bright side, Pittman's quarterback situation is the best it's ever been, as future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers is returning for another year with the Steelers.
Even if their complementary playstyles benefit Pittman's volume, his inconsistent returns in favorable conditions over the years make it hard to believe that 2026 will be much different. Pittman is RotoBaller's WR42 in its current rankings.
