Daily NBA Picks - Top Player Props and NBA Odds (1/22/26)

Anthony Edwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Fantasy Basketball Rankings

Keith Eyster's top NBA prop bets for 1/22/26. Expert player-prop picks, value plays, quick model edges, and line-shopping tips for today’s slate. Check odds & get the edge.

Welcome back to another edition of RotoBaller's NBA Props! There are eight games on the schedule today, starting at 7:00 pm ET.

Key injuries of note on today's slate include: Jalen Suggs (questionable), Paul George (questionable), Josh Giddey (questionable), Keyonte George (questionable), Kawhi Leonard (questionable), Jerami Grant (questionable), and Jrue Holiday (questionable). There are always a lot more injury statuses announced in the afternoon hours, so make sure you are monitoring that information as closely as possible.

In this article, I will provide my favorite NBA player props picks for Thursday, January 22nd. Prop picks can range from individual stats, such as points, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, and defensive statistics, to combination props (Points + Rebounds + Assists = PRA). All odds and sportsbooks used are listed, but it's always a good idea to shop around, as odds change throughout the day as bets are placed. Alright, let's get to the picks already!

Today’s Best NBA Picks for Player Props

Let’s take a look at the top player props for today’s NBA slate:

Anthony Edwards over 30.5 Points (-104 NOVIG)

Timberwolves superstar Anthony Edwards is easily having the best season of his career. He is averaging a career-high 29.6 points per game, which is aided by the most efficient shooting season of his career. Ant-Man is averaging a personal best 49.9% from the field and 41.3% from beyond the arc. The volume has been elite lately, with at least 20 shots in each of his last five games.

Minnesota has lost two straight and will almost certainly lean on its superstar to get back on track against Chicago. The Wolves have a slate-leading 124.5-point implied team total tonight in this up-tempo matchup against a bad Chicago defense.

Kawhi Leonard over 33.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-120 Bet365)

Clippers star Kawhi Leonard has a chance to return to action this evening after sitting out the last three games with an injury. He's dealt with multiple bumps and bruises all season long, but it hasn't affected his production in the slightest. In fact, the 34-year-old is having one of the best seasons of his career, averaging a personal best 28.2 points per game to go along with 6.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists.

That average of 38.0 PRA per game is comfortably above his line for this game, which is likely because he will presumably be limited to 28-30 minutes tonight. He had been playing on a 30-minute restriction before this most recent injury, but he still averaged 38.6 PRA in those four games in which he was limited.

In addition to his excellent recent form, Leonard gets an elite matchup against a Lakers defense that has slipped all the way to 25th in efficiency this season.

How Does Novig Work?

Since users are not playing against the books, there is an opportunity to make more money per wager that you win, and users can usually find better values on bets (in terms of the prices being offered) than on traditional sportsbooks.

There are no oddsmakers; users dictate their own odds. You can either accept the odds that the market is offering or set your own odds. If you set your own odds, another user has to accept them on the other side for the bet to be activated.

For example, if you set the odds of Jaylen Brown to go over 29.5 points at -110, then anyone can flip the bet and take the under on his points prop at +110. Users drive the market, not the sportsbook or oddsmakers!

Top NBA Value Picks and Sleeper Props

Betting on superstars is always exciting, but the best value often lies in the margins of a roster. Role players and emerging contributors can offer hidden edges, especially as the season wears on and injuries start to shake up rotations. We don't want to wager only on superstars; it's often the role-players and less-known players who may offer us the best markets.

Let’s dive into some of the top value plays for today’s NBA slate.

Jaden McDaniels over 21.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-125 FanDuel)

Timberwolves wing Jaden McDaniels has been playing excellent basketball lately, clearing this PRA line with ease in each of his last four games. For the season, he's averaging a career-high 15.0 points per game, and he's added 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists on top of that.

Tonight's matchup against Chicago sets up perfectly for him to clear this line yet again. Chicago plays at the fourth-fastest pace and ranks just 23rd in defensive efficiency. They are a slightly below-average team on the glass, and they allow the fifth-most points and the sixth-most assists to opponents.

Anthony Black over 15.5 Points (-112 Bet365)

Orlando guard Anthony Black is having a breakout season, as he's taken his offensive game to a whole new level. The third-year man is averaging a career-high 15.9 points per game. He's scored 19 and 21 points in his last two games despite Franz Wagner returning to the lineup. Tonight, Jalen Suggs also has a chance to return, as he is listed as questionable on the injury report. Even with Orlando getting healthier, Black should continue to be a focal point of the offense, especially while Wagner and Suggs remain on minutes restrictions.

This line is adjusted for those two key players returning to the lineup. Black averaged 17.9 points per game in the seven games while Suggs was sidelined, and this is an elite matchup against a Hornets defense that ranks just 20th in efficiency. If Suggs were to get ruled out for this game, there would be significant value on this line.

Julian Champagnie over 12.5 Points (-112 Bet365), (-114 NOVIG)

Champagnie hit this prop for us on Monday in the same matchup, and he's coming off one of the best performances of his career when he drained eight threes against Houston last time out. He's averaging 16.5 points per game in 12 starts since taking over for the injured Devin Vassell.

The matchup against Utah fits Champagnie's style perfectly. Utah plays at the third-fastest pace and ranks dead last in defensive efficiency. They have allowed the most three-pointers in the league, and Champagnie scores more than 65% of his points from beyond the arc.
