James Cook, RB, Bills

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook is set to face a tough Houston Texans' defense on Thursday night that has allowed just 87.1 rushing yards per game, which ranks third in the NFL. It could be tough sledding for Cook on Thursday against a stout Texans defense, but he remains a must-start in Week 12. Cook is averaging 115.8 scrimmage yards per game and has produced eight touchdowns over 10 contests.

The 26-year-old back is enjoying his best season, and the Bills are sure to feature Cook on Thursday. Look for another strong showing and RB1 potential for Cook this week. Despite the brutal matchup, Cook should be in all fantasy lineups and is ranked 11th among all running backs for Week 12.

Josh Allen, QB, Bills

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is coming off a monster performance in last Sunday's 44-32 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He threw for 317 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing for 40 yards on six rushing attempts and three more scores versus the Bucs. Allen will look to keep things rolling against the Houston Texans on Thursday night.

Houston's defense is third-best in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game at 174, but Allen's ability to beat them with his feet gives him a high floor. The Texans' defense has held opponents to 20-or-fewer points in all but two matchups this season, to keep their struggling offense in ballgames. However, Allen's MVP-caliber season continues, and he remains a must-start and comes in as the second-ranked quarterback heading into Week 12 in the latest RotoBaller rankings.

Jayden Higgins, WR, Texans

Houston Texans wide receiver Jayden Higgins has stepped into a larger role for the Texans since his Week 6 bye week. He is still a high-risk play against the Bills on Thursday Night Football, though, especially with Davis Mills filling in for C.J. Stroud (concussion).

Higgins has gotten seven targets in each of Mills' first two starts, catching five passes for 42 yards and a touchdown against the Jaguars, followed by four catches for 55 yards against the Titans. He played the second-highest snap share last week as well and seems to be emerging ahead of Xavier HutchinsonChristian Kirk, and Jaylin Noel.

His production is still a little inconsistent, though, so he's only the WR46 in the RotoBaller's rankings for Week 12, making him a long-shot flex play on Thursday night.

Dalton Schultz, TE, Texans

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz has been extremely consistent this season, getting plenty of volume for PPR leagues. He has at least five catches in seven of his last eight games and has 20 targets from backup QB Davis Mills over the last two weeks. Mills will make another start against the Bills on Thursday Night Football with C.J. Stroud (concussion) still sidelined.

The Bills have allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to tight ends this season, so it's a tough spot for Schultz, despite his regular production. RotoBaller has Schlutz ranked as the No. 12 TE this week, making him a fringe starter in standard-sized leagues and a great TE2. He has more value in leagues where his number of receptions can help him compensate for low yardage totals.
