ANALYSIS: DeAndre Hopkins has not lived up to expectations since joining the Kansas City Chiefs. After a promising start, his usage has been inconsistent in recent weeks. In Week 11, he caught three of four targets for only 29 yards in the team's loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Despite being tied for the second-most targets on the team, his production was minimal. His route participation has also decreased since JuJu Smith-Schuster returned to the lineup.

Kansas City faces the Carolina Panthers in Week 12. Carolina's defense is not particularly strong, which provides Hopkins with some potential for a solid performance. However, his role in the Chiefs' offense has been inconsistent.
In four games with the Chiefs, the veteran wideout has reached double-digit PPR points only once. His target share has fluctuated, and it is hard to trust him as a starting option. While the Clemson product can still be started as a low-end WR2 or flex in 12+ team leagues, expectations should be kept low. Hopkins remains a risky play for Week 12.
