Royce Lewis is a fantasy baseball waiver wire pickup for hitters heading into Week 13 (2023). Target Lewis as a free agent shortstop on the waiver wire.
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 43% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The former top prospect for Minnesota is criminally under-rostered in fantasy, given all he's done is hit since he got to the Majors. Royce Lewis flashed elite upside in 12 games last season as he batted .300 with a .550 slugging percentage in, admittedly, a small sample size. His season was cut short by a torn ACL, which kept him out of action into this season.
After going 4-for-4 on Friday, Royce Lewis has gone 3-for-3 today. He has 7 straight plate appearances with a hit.#MNTwins pic.twitter.com/8EqCAFnjzc

He's back now and through 13 games Lewis is batting .300 with two homers, nine RBI, and five runs scored. Again, still a small sample at the Big League level, but Lewis consistently hit for high batting averages in the minors with plus power and speed. He's been playing nearly every day at 3B but came up as a shortstop so that dual eligibility is a nice bonus as well.
