Tyler Skaggs Aiming For More Consistency
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels starter Tyler Skaggs picked up the win despite allowing four runs in five innings as the Angels edged the Twins 5-4 on Tuesday. Skaggs (4-3) bounced back from a horrible start last week against Tigers to lead his team to victory despite failing to post a quality start. Skaggs possesses plenty of talent but still is working through consistency issues after an injury-plagued 2018 season. In seven starts this season, Skaggs has pitched six innings in only two of those starts and his 1.40 WHIP will need to improve to become fantasy viable at some point this season.
