Tyler Boyd Suffers Head Injury Monday
4 years agoCincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd (head) hit his head on the turf while trying to make a catch in the first quarter on Monday night against the Steelers and is questionable to return while going into the league's concussion protocol. It was Boyd's only target in the game before he left, so fantasy managers needing Boyd to put up some points in order to advance to their fantasy championship next weekend could be extremely disappointed if he does not return. A.J. Green, rookie Tee Higgins and Alex Erickson will primarily serve in three-receiver sets for the rest of the game if Boyd does not return. With a short week ahead of a Week 16 matchup with the Texans, Boyd will need to clear the concussion protocol later this week in order to be cleared to face Houston. He's been a shaky WR4/flex for fantasy managers ever since rookie quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a season-ending knee injury.
