Jakobi Meyers Impressing in Training Camp
Jakobi Meyers has "quickly cultivated strong chemistry" with quarterback Geno Smith and is "clearly (Smith's) No. 1 receiver," according to Tashan Reed of The Athletic. Reed writes that Meyers was a standout in the team's joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday. Meyers has quietly been a highly productive possession receiver in recent years, averaging 77 catches for 876 yards and five touchdowns over the last four seasons. The 28-year-old is expected to be the number two target in Las Vegas behind star tight end Brock Bowers. Meyers profiles as a steady WR3 in fantasy with limited upside but a projectable floor as long as he stays healthy.
