Tim Anderson Remains Out Tuesday
1 year agoChicago White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson (shoulder) remains out of the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Texas Rangers. It will be the third straight missed game for Anderson due to right-shoulder soreness. However, the injury isn't considered very serious, so hopefully he'll be back at the 6 on Wednesday. Elvis Andrus is starting at shortstop and batting eighth for the White Sox on Tuesday against Rangers right-hander Nathan Eovaldi. Anderson has been one of the bigger fantasy disappointments so far in 2023, as he's hitting just .250 (52-for-208) with nine doubles, no home runs, 10 RBI, eight stolen bases and 21 runs in 51 games. The two-time All-Star has been worse in June, going 10-for-48 (.208) with two doubles, one RBI, two steals and 10 strikeouts in 12 games.
